Quinta da Moita Agroturismo

The place was very nice, clean and everything was great. The wine is great. Perfect.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We didn't realize when we booked it that it was neither on the Sil River nor in Tabuaço. It's in Tabuaço district and about 20 minutes for the town itself, where most of the closest restaurants are located. This is in no way detrimental as the drives from all entry points into Carrazedo (where the Quinta is located) are fantastic. Carrazedo is a small village, and the Quinta is really the most prominent location. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the town. The wines and breakfast are not just locally sourced, they are homemade and organic - and all very tasty. The staff members were diligent and friendly, and the owner was attentive, curious, helpful, and sincerely devoted to the Quinta. By all means, take the short loop hike above the Quinta into the farmland and vineyards.

We were welcomed wholeheartedly by the hostess who was incredible. Very friendly, helpful, and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was the highlight of our day, with homemade yoghurt and jams. Lovely swimming pool as well. We would recommend this accommodation if you want to have a nice getaway in a more secluded area of the Douro.

EVERYTHING! The staff was so friendly, beautiful location at the top of the mountain, only about 6-7 rooms so you basically have the whole place to yourself, onsite little lamb and chickens, wine bottles available for only 9 euros (grab at your leisure from the “living room”), every room with a great view, home cooked breakfast each morning, and extremely accommodating for our 7 month old!!
