On the estate you can enjoy the privacy of a walk under the treetops. It comprises four hectares of well-preserved private native forest consisting of oak trees, ancient pine trees, chestnut trees, cherry trees and vineyards.
On the property you can sit and listen to the waterfall of the stream or always feel the presence of the running water in the waterfall in front of the house while enjoying a bottle of Douro wine with your family.
Nearby you'll find the Salzedas Monastery, within walking distance, or the fortified bridge of Ucanha, where you can savor the region's best dishes. You can also visit the Mondim da Beira river beach and take a refreshing dip under the bridge, or explore the entire Douro region by car. Quinta das Felizardas is 15 minutes from the motorway access near Lamego, where you can visit one of the region's landmarks: the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies in Lamego.
The Quinta das Felizardas forest house is a versatile open space that can be adapted to accommodate a couple and two or three children.
The house has internet with Netflix, an American-style refrigerator, a fireplace, an equipped kitchen, a regular bathroom, and outside there are several leisure areas such as a rustic swimming pool with running water from the river, highlighting its natural and refreshing state, as well as several beautiful areas where you can feel integrated with nature while reading a book, listening to music or drinking a refreshing wine. The estate was designed to provide an intimate and rare contact with the Douro nature, with reading areas and spaces for spiritual retreat. Quinta das Felizardas is a privilege of incredibly preserved nature. Our work has been precisely the preservation and permanent care of biodiversity.
