BIENVENUE in NEWHAVEN Luxury superking OR standard OR budget rooms

Breakfast was not included in our stay. We basically only slept there as we were in the Newhaven area to attend a family gathering which basically went on until late in the evening. Our host was a lovely lady and very accommodating.

There was nothing that we didn't like, everything we needed was provided. .

Nicky is an amazing host and rely helpful!! We had a great night there, the decoration is lovely and we could not be happier :)

Very clean

We thought we were booking a suite, by definition something self contained. What we got was 2 bedrooms & a bathroom, all on a landing shared with a member of family & another room. If I book a suite I expect to be able to walk from bedroom to bathroom without putting on clothes. Not possible. Also can't lock bathroom from outside so can't leave anything inside securely. I have foot problems so always wear light shoes indoors, but here they have a no shoes policy which is unhelpful. Unfortunately you don't know about this until after you book, & lose your money if cancel. Had I known about either the no shoes or the non-suite issue I would never have booked it, particularly as Eastbourne is only 8 miles away & rooms ( ensuite ) £20 cheaper. When we complained about the " suite " the host transferred us to an ensuite room at no extra cost. I checked the prices for next day & it was cheaper, but no offer to refund difference. My wife had a bad night because the bed dipped on her side. Towels were hard & rough. Tv had little choice & hard to find. Checkout is early & if you're not out on time there is an extra charge.
