Large plot, comfortable villa, very private

Accommodation was lovely, well equipped and pool was great. Views from balconies were great. Close to 2 big supermarkets. One or two slight issues with maintenance that were fixed as soon as we highlighted to host who was very responsive.

Very hilly, we hadn't factored that in from just looking at the map - 15-20 mins walk to / from beach, but very steep hill on way back. Approx 30 mins walk to town - downhill on way, but up hill on way back - this was fine, but just need to be aware of this when booking.

Fabulous location - a short walk to the supermarket (10 mins) and the main beach (15 mins - but steep uphill on the way back). Carrying on from the beach you can use the steps at the end of the beach to get to the town centre which wasn't too much further. We didn't have a car and you don't need one unless you want to explore further afield, we even walked to the caves which is an easy flat walk and took about 40 mins (and you get a great view of the aqueduct). The villa is beautiful with lovely views from the middle and especially top floor balconies. It was immaculately clean on arrival. The air con was great and kitchen has all facilities you need. Our 2 older girls slept downstairs where they had a bit more room. The pool area is completely private with loads of sunbeds. The pool was quite deep even in the shallow end if you have small children. It was great having the room downstairs next to the pool with a fridge and bathroom. The bbq was great too. Goran was a fabulous host - he arranged our taxi from and back to the airport (average 85 euros each way) and as our flight home wasn't until the afternoon, he arranged a later checkout (I guess this will depend on the timing of other guests arriving). He responded to my messages really quickly and was very accommodating to requests.

The bed in the master bedroom needs some attention as some slats were missing so it was a little bit saggy but ok. The sun disappeared from the pool area at about 6pm (mid July).
