Villa Chimenea with pool and lovely garden

Pool was a decent size and clean. Lots of space on the 3 floors. Balcony areas were great with nice views of the mountains and the sea. Great communication from the hosts and all in all we had a good time.

It was a shame about the extensive building works going on outside the back gate and surrounding streets. This was communicated with us shortly before we arrived so we knew what to expect. It was hard to park our hire car on the road outside though and we were worried it would get damaged from the workers and their machinery. The back metal gate was very stiff and needs replacing so it’s easier to lock. The pool area could do with a little spruce up replacing some tiles and mortar but it wasn’t a huge issue.

Large plot, comfortable villa, very private

Accommodation was lovely, well equipped and pool was great. Views from balconies were great. Close to 2 big supermarkets. One or two slight issues with maintenance that were fixed as soon as we highlighted to host who was very responsive.

Very hilly, we hadn't factored that in from just looking at the map - 15-20 mins walk to / from beach, but very steep hill on way back. Approx 30 mins walk to town - downhill on way, but up hill on way back - this was fine, but just need to be aware of this when booking.
