Lovely old house in the countryside with many period furnishings and artefacts

Location good, close to local attractions including National Trust.
Lovely old cottage with so much potential.
Comfortable bed in main bedroom, 4-poster not so much.
Easy access to keys on arrival.
No kitchen bin, very inconvenient!
Kitchen utensils are dreadful, in dire need of throwing away and replacing.
No instructions on how to use the hob.
The microwave was filthy.
Kitchen is generally very outdated.
The sofa is incredibly uncomfortable, cheap material which slides all over the place.
No shower/bath mat and unfinished/paint spattered floorboards in en-suite and bathroom.
Glass tops on bedside tables have extremely sharp corners, take note if you’re staying with small children.
Took a while to get the wifi sorted, the last k of the password is lowercase not upper!

Great location, spacious, warm, cosy, lovely views.
We couldn’t get the WiFi to work. Incorrect wifi code. But we had a 4G signal so it wasn’t too bad!
