The More Hotel Västra Hamnen

Great hotel! Very convenient location, close to everything, but in pretty calm area. The studio had all we needed for a two nights stay, and more. It is well maintained and clean, which for us was the most important. Good breakfast, comfortable bed and easygoing staff that was helpful and flexible. Definitely felt like they're more focused on service rather than taking your money, unlike some big hotel chains. Will definitely be back when in Malmö, hope they hold the standard high.

Clean and comfortable studio hotel rooms. The room has everything you need and the area, while a little farther away from the Old Town, gives you the opportunity to spend your stay in quiet. Sign up for Malmö bikes and cruise the city in a breeze. Reserve your table in the breakfast area or take a tray to your room. Breakfast is excellent. Staff helpful. Would stay again.

It was clean and there was space

From the description on Booking, it seemed that parking was included. However, upon arrival I was asked to pay an additional fee for parking, which was unexpected and disappointing. The towels were extremely old and felt overwashed. In addition, the shampoo and body wash were combined into one product. These should normally be separate. After using it, my hair felt very dry and difficult to manage. The breakfast area was extremely small. As we were traveling with small children, we had to sit right next to the entrance door, where it was very cold. I politely asked a staff member if it would be possible to move or combine tables in another area, but she refused, saying the tables were reserved. However, no one used those tables during the entire time we were eating. The staff member was not helpful and simply responded “no, I will not.” The quality of the breakfast was also very disappointing. The coffee was very watery and tasted poor. The eggs were also watery and had almost no taste. None of my family members ate them, even though they were the only warm food option available. Additionally, the breakfast selection was exactly the same every day with no variation. My husband also mentioned that the reception staff on both days were not very friendly and often seemed unsure of the answers when asked questions. Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately I would not recommend this place.
