Hotel Riu Jambo - All Inclusive

Everything was wonderful, from the amazing food array at any of the buffets to the performances presented by the entertainment group, to the beautiful turquoise water beaches, be prepared for an unforgettable holiday! Staff were so courteous and friendly always offering suggestions as to how to enjoy the day.. The pool and pool bar toght next to the beach ( if you ever got tired of it!).. Also, there were specialty restaurants available for a quiet, relaxed or romantic evening, but you need to reserve ahead (do your reservations as soon as you can - 2 days before the night you want to go, and they get nooked fast!), food is nice-not fancy but nice in the specialty restaurants; we had italian and asian. Wines were good South African wines, other alcohol was good too. One thing to remember: the property os big and you will need comfortable shoes! We went to the performance shows every night (fun shows, including the Zanzibar freedom dancers!-really cool) and the night would end with a dj set that kept us dancing until late 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 so pack your dancing shoes! Do also catch the afternoon show “Coco fest” at rafiki bar!!!

The app doesn’t allow to reserve the specialty restaurants for more than the number of guests in your room; in my case we were 7 individual reservations and we all had to book separately. We asked the customer service agent at reception and she helped us.

The property was clean, well maintained on a beautiful stretch of a long white sand beach. The beds were comfortable. The staff was super friendly.

We were not able to get a reservation at one of the à la carte restaurants, but the buffet had an excellent selection of food, so we were not bothered.

Beach was nice white sand and the ocean.

Food was generally ok, however based on other resorts globally for the price this resort offered less in terms of variety,available across all food serving areas. This maybe due to the overall 4 star status. The constant beach boys selling products can get a little irritating and you cannot enjoy a peaceful walk on the beach without interference considering you spend a lot of money to arrive.
