    There was no welcome drink provided, even though it was mentioned at the time of booking. The room also had a leak. After we checked out, we were asked to wait at reception while staff confirmed with housekeeping that nothing had been taken from the room, which was quite frustrating.

    The hotel is at the beach, with sunbeds for the guests. The staff is very friendly, is clean, good breakfast, near minimarked and ATM. Highly recommend. If i come back to Zanzibar another time, i will choose Kendwa

    Very bad service while checking in, we had booked a family room for 4 nights but instead at the check in they were giving us a room with only queen size bed. We were 5 guests with 2 Adults and 3 Children's. We had to argue with them for very long and also they made us pay 100 USD as city tax. While booking on agoda no city tax was mentioned and the hotel forced us to pay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all

    We had booked 2 rooms but only provided one room on check in and second night allotted other room which was having foul smell hence had to again change to different room for 3 rd night. Tap water is salty and not suitable for bath , torn bath towels, breakfast very basic, at essence restaurant after 30 minutes of ordering dinner (burger and sandwich)was told is not available and had to manage with pizza, multiple items mentioned in menu are not available . Poor internet connectivity in rooms. Basic amenities and budget option and not suitable for luxury accommodation.
