Rooms were perfect! The resort offers a very nice, calm, and peaceful environment, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

The owners were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Their warm Sri Lankan hospitality made my trip even more memorable. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for visiting Sigiriya, Dambulla, and nearby attractions, and the staff also helped arrange a fantastic wildlife safari. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the traditional Sri Lankan dishes. I really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature; it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend Meegas Sewana Resort to anyone visiting the area, especially solo travelers looking for a safe, welcoming, and affordable place to stay. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Meegas Sewana Resort and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome with their warm Sri Lankan hospitality and genuine smiles. The resort is set in a peaceful, natural location close to Minneriya National Park, which makes it perfect for anyone wanting a relaxing stay mixed with a bit of adventure. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with good ventilation and a calm atmosphere that helped us unwind after a long day out. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were well maintained, and everything was exactly as described on Booking.com. We slept very well and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the safari experience. The resort helped organise our Minneriya safari, and it was absolutely incredible to see elephants so close in their natural habitat. Having this arranged directly through the hotel made everything smooth and stress-free. Breakfast was another standout. The food was fresh, tasty, and generous, with a nice mix of local Sri Lankan flavours and familiar options. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore. The property itself is well maintained, with plenty of space, greenery, and a relaxed vibe. Free parking was convenient, and the overall value for money was excellent. If you’re looking for a place that’s comfortable, affordable, close to nature, and run by genuinely caring people, Meegas Sewana Resort is a brilliant choice. Rustige plek op een mooie locatie. De medewerker was zeer behulpzaam. Via Google translate was communicatie nog het makkelijkste. Bed en ontbijt waren goed. Voor de prijs die je betaalt, krijg je waar voor je geld, maar dan moet je accepteren dat het geen sterrenverblijf is. Er was geen restaurant en dichtbij in de buurt ook niet.

Het was niet smetteloos schoon, eufemistisch uitgedrukt. De douche werkte in het geheel niet.
