Gold Sand - Dúplex - Near the Beach with Air-Con By Lanzarote Vacation Homes

Huge apartment which had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean, bed very comfortable. Lovely outdoor spaces for dining and/or sunbathing. 5 min walk from prom and playa Dorada.

The location was excellent. Very clean kitchen was well equiped. Cleaner was helpful.

We had no spare bedding or towels or tea towels for our 6 week stay. We had trouble getting into the apartment with the code given. Also we were offered a one bed change over but it was only 8 days in. No welcome book to how to use things. No cleaning products to keep the apartment clean for 6 weeks.

Appartement à 500 m du bord de mer très agréable dans un quartier calme à l’écart du brouhaha touristique. Très fonctionnel et très bien équipé Deux chambres spacieuses à l’étage avec chacune une salle de bain (avec légère odeur d’égout ..) et des rangements importants. Literie confortable Petite terrasse charmante et meublée sur le devant à l’ouest Parking gratuit devant la résidence très appréciable

Malheureusement, un seul gros hic : une vue « magnifique » sur un mega chantier à 10 m de l’appartement avec une super grue de 20 m de haut D’où la note de 7

A large and well equiped apartment with a great kingsize bed, three complete bathrooms and toilets with free soap, shower gel, shampoo and extra beach towels included, a well equipped kitchen, and good wifi connection. The apartment is located just less than a 10 minutes walk from the beach and also the Aldi supermarket is within a 10 minutes walk. The Island itself is amazing beautiful and easy to explore by car. Especially the Timanfaya national park is close by, breathtaking and a place not to be missed when visiting Lanzarote. I do recommend taking some walking trails through the park.

The apartment was ok clean, but I do advise a thorough deep-clean especially higher of the ground surfaces need some attention. It is situated opposite a construction site with a large crane (handy to be used as a landmark) and close to the THB Tropical Island hotel, where they sometimes blasted the sound system, it is not as great as it was advertised. The pictures shown on the website are marketing wise well shot, masking the surrounding well. We were also quite unlucky that some of the neighbours were not adhering to the 2300hrs curfew for quiet entertainment. In short, not exactly a relaxing, peaceful vacation spot. The apartment is offered on the Booking.com website by the Lanzarote Vacation Homes company. The company employees were very responsive but not well organised. After the confirmation of the booking via Booking.com we were, against the advise stated on the Booking.com website, rerouted to an alternative website to carry out the payment proces. Only on second occasion - the first booking had to be cancelled by the Lanzarote Vacation Homes company - and after multiple messages sent and received, the payment was finally completed. Then upon arrival at the apartment we had to contact the Lanzarote Vacation Homes company again because the code for the electronic locker was not correct. First we had to prove that we actually were standing in front of the right apartment and carried out the opening procedure correctly, before the Lanzarote Vacation Homes company acknowledged that they had made a mistake and sent the the wrong entry code. Only a simple verbal apology was received. No, I would not recommend the Lanzarote Vacation Homes company.
