All ok, just my car is not the smallest which is somehow in all Italy a little complicated

to enter the property by car can be complicated when the door is closed, it need to be unlocked during traffic on the road, accomodation can not be seen from the road and GPS says the wrong side ...

Como staying

The Villa is very charming and the room was elegantly decorated. We slept very well, it was quiet and comfortable. The check-in and out were easy and well organized. We park our car with a trailer inside. They reserved a good spot with sufficient space for that. We had a pleasant stay and hope to be back.

Plenty of space for the 3 of us, the kitchen was great for home cooking and train station was just round the corner so very easy to get into town.

The location is great for Lake Como but because of ULEZ we couldn’t drive into town or around the area (not the accommodations fault of course), however train station made our stay excellent and we were able to do everything we wanted. Top tip: make sure you have bug repellent if staying in summer as there are a lot of mosquitoes but this applies to Italy in general!

Great option to explore Como

The room is beautiful, is very comfortable, clean and it has a kitchen equipped enough to prepare simple meals. It has great transportation options to go to Como. We appreciated that they stored our luggage before check in and after check out.

Communication was a bit difficult. We lost our train due to the delay to coordinate the luggage delivery.

Self-check in was easy and convenient. Spacious, clean room with kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, plates, pots, etc. Spare pull-out sofa bed, if needed. Clean, modern bathroom. Very quiet property due to full concrete construction.

Parking on the property was a little tight. If at full occupancy, would have been worse, but at 4 of 6 rooms full, was manageable. Small shower - and we are not large people.

Beautiful light airy apartment

Such a beautiful room that had everything to make our stay so comfortable. It was close to public transport and in a good location to supermarkets, pharmacies etc. Staying here was amazing. We especially loved the skylights in our room where we could see the mountains surrounding the area.

We loved everything, but maybe instructions on how to use the cook top and a kettle would’ve really made the stay amazing!

Parking is a bit narrow for larger cars. An electrical outllet would have been helpful.

We would have loved to stay longer!

We really appreciated the attention to detail put into the property. It’s been nicely decorated and was very clean. Its location meant we could leave the car and take the train into central Como and also Milan. We arrived an hour early and were able to check in straight away which was appreciated. The host was very friendly & helpful.

The mattress was firmer than we’ve experienced elsewhere on our travels but was okay.

Great location just 5 mins walk from Como Camerlata train station, Camerlata is a ten minute train ride from Lake Como, trains are frequent cheap & clean. Nice Aldi supermarket close by. Room was wonderful, we were at the top of the building , it was bright and airy. Best of all was the welcome, the staff were lovely.

There's nothing that I didn't like, I'm 62 and regularly climb the Welsh mountains, so climbing the 4 flights of stairs to the room was no problem for me but those less able should ask for a room lower down.

A lovely stay.

A lovely apartment, exactly as it looks in the pictures. Very clean, brilliantly equipped and comfortable. The apartment is in a great location, just a very short, 3 min or so, walk to the station and from there you can get straight to como in around 10 mins. There was a slight problem with the payment after the stay but the host was very helpful in getting the issue sorted. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Crochat! Our apartment was ready before check-in time. We were well instructed on how to enter the house and where to find everything. The host was available on chat and also left a phone number. The interior is modern and stylish, kitchen and bathroom are well equipped and clean. The area is quiet and offers several grocery stores. There are bus connections to the center of Como but we were very glad to have a car.

The villa is very nice and the room was really comfortable and clean. The host Alice gave us really useful tips and was available for any questions all the time.

We would really appreciate 2 more Nespresso tablets as we were staying two nights😉

the mattress was too hard and gave us both bad backs and as our room was the top floor there was very low beams and being 6’4 I kept hitting my head

Fantastic apartment in extraordinary state!

A superb and extra ordinary apartment, located a little bit outside Como City Center! With a nearby train station (reachable by walking in 5 minutes) you can easily reach the lake and the city center within max. 10 minutes! The apartment is very clean and stylish and the staff is very nice and welcoming with a helping hand for your needs! The car park is right behind the Villa! The Villa itself is a very soecial and completely renovated/refurbished building in an extraordinary state! We unfortunately could only stay for one night, but do recommend this apartment and will for sure be back!

A lovely stay! Super recommended.

It is like in the pictures!! We felt like home since the very first minute. The check in system with a code is quick and efficient. In our opinion the check in time is a bit late though (15.00h). The room was very clean and with a vintage touch that made it very cozy.

The neighborhood. But still, you are very close to the city center so it is not really a downside.
