The location is amazing and Paolo was exceptionally helpful. The recommendations for restaurants and gelato were spot on, it saved us from the tourist traps and frozen food. Wishing all the best to Paolo and his wife in this lovely place.

The owner was particularly helpful, coming to meet us at the water taxi and recommending various things and restaurants

Paolo was a consummate host. He met us at the vaporetto and walked with us to the apartment. Once there, he went over everything we would need to know about our stay. He supplied a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and an apricot tart for our breakfast the next day. He helped us with restaurants, tours, and areas of Venice a tourist may not be familiar with. He checked in with us daily to see if there was anything he could do for us and if everything was okay. It felt like we had our on personal concierge. The apartment had all the amenities we needed. We were out and about all day, each day we were in Venice, so we didn't need to take advantage of the modern kitchen, but it was nice to know it was available to us should we want to use it. It was very handy to have a washer and dryer in the apartment and was most welcome after a couple of long days traveling. Location in the city was fine and was not crowded or noisy. Was very easy to get to where we wanted to go quickly. A nice, quiet neighborhood to come home to.

Beautiful property, well appointed, quiet, convenient location! Host was wonderful and extremely helpful with recommendations of where to eat, what to do and see, as well as the history of Venice! I loved Venice and will very likely go back and definitely stay at Paulo’s home again! Everything was first class, 5 star! Even a nice breakfast treat to enjoy.
