Villa Kallithea

The position is marvellous with a magnificent view over the bay both from our bedroom balcony and from the terrace. The swimming pool is large and plenty of loungers so no fight for them. Everything is very clean. Being situated in a private garden gave a very relaxing feel to being there and easy parking - we were very happy to be there rather than down in Parga town.

Everything is starting to age a bit whether it’s the rooms themselves or the materials provided in the kitchen which are quite basic - it’s all fine but doesn’t give the “luxury” feel they announce in their ads. The couple running it are competent and helpful if you ask for things but they are not particularly welcoming and you get the feeling that running a hotel is not their dream job.

Well, the view it is just stunning. The people running the hotel are also super. And the pool it is also a plus, although it can get quickly crowded. The place is clean, it furnished simply but with good taste. The apartment is huge.

Unfortunately it is not all perfect. Some items (the mosquito net, the shower holder) were broken. One room does not have an air conditioning in the room: it is in the corridor, and in extreme hot weather is not enough. Sometime water has very low pressure, and there is no hot water. Towels seemed to be washed without softener (we’re pretty harsh). Finally there are some problems with wasps on the balcony, because se of which it is not really comfortable to eat outside, and some problem either ants inside.

Exceptional villa just above Lichnos beach. Everything was perfect. The location, the host, the rooms, the view, the pool. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Michail and his wife, they made our stay even more enjoyable. 🥰
