The studio is in a great location, just a short walk from the town centre and the seafront. It is situated on a lovely, quiet side street, away from all the hustle and bustle of the town. One of the biggest advantages is that the studio is on the ground floor, which is especially appreciated after spending long days hiking and exploring the area. Not having to deal with steep stairs makes a real difference! The studio is beautifully furnished, with a cute style and lovely colours that make it feel cosy and welcoming. The owners also left a thoughtful welcome gift of Normandy cider and biscuits, which was a lovely touch. The hosts were particularly kind and accommodating. I simply asked whether there was somewhere I could leave my bags before check-in, and they went out of their way to offer me an earlier check-in, one hour ahead of schedule. I really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Overall, a lovely little studio.

Unfortunately, cleanliness and maintenance were extremely disappointing. The kitchen utensils, plates and pots were dirty, with dried food stains, while the glass shelves were greasy and dusty. Ensuring proper cleanliness between guests is the owner's responsibility, especially when a cleaning fee is charged. The bathroom was in poor condition. The toilet was loose and moved every time I sat on it. The shower had black marks around the door fittings from mould, and the shower itself was rusty. I found it so disgusting that I did not shower during my three-day stay. The worst issue was the unbearable sewage smell throughout the studio. I even bought a scented candle to try to mask it, without success. Previous reviews had already mentioned the same problem, suggesting it has not been properly addressed. I contacted the owners about the smell and cleanliness. They offered to come and fix things during my stay, but these are issues that should have been dealt with between guests, not after complaints. There is also a large electrical cabinet next to the TV, apparently containing circuit breakers for the building, concerning in terms of access and privacy. The studio has serious shortcomings in cleanliness, maintenance and the persistent sewage smell!
