As well as three open fires for warming up cold hands, guests can also take advantage of the country-style kitchen with an Aga and a selection of rolltop bathtubs. If you really don't feel like lifting a finger during your stay, there's a team of chefs that can arrange the week's menu using locally foraged ingredients and housekeepers to cater to every whim. When the sun makes an appearance — or you're feeling suitably warmed up after a dram or two — there's a hot tub in the garden, which also has children's play equipment and a barbecue.
