Ameer apartment

We loved the location it was so high up we had a lovely view. They also made us a delicious breakfast in the morning before leaving. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. I will recommend my acquaintances to stay here on their trips to Petra.

Il proprietario Mohammed e il figlio Ameer sono simpaticissimi, gentili e disponibili. La stanza era come in foto, pulita e spaziosa. La colazione viene servita nella zona comune, su dei piccoli divanetti, ed è semplice ma molto buona. Consiglio di cenare almeno una sera sulla bellissima terrazza della struttura, che affaccia sulla cittadina di Wadi Musa: il cibo era ottimo e Mohammed ci ha tenuti al caldo fornendoci dei caldi cappotti tipici di pelo. Per raggiungere la struttura serve necessariamente la macchina (o taxi) perché si trova in cima a Wadi Musa. Attenzione che Google Maps ti porta nella strada sottostante, bisogna proseguire e curvare a destra per raggiungere la casa.

Il bagno della stanza necessita di qualche lavoretto, ma era comunque decoroso. Wifi prende poco e in stanza quasi niente.

Nice apartment in the high part of Wadi Musa, around 6 min driving from Petra's visitor centre. Mohammed was nice and so was Edit (the smiley girl from Ethiopia that cooked the breakfast and the dinner). The dinner costs 10 JDs per person, not cheap, but it was very tasty and you get a huge amount of food! We highly recommend to try it, especially after walking Petra for a whole day. The breakfast was also very tasty.

One of the beds was quite hard. I slept well, but for some people might not had been comfortable. The rooms could be more soundproofed. The other guests were quiet, but they probably woke up when our baby was crying at 6 am. In any case, I highly recommend this place.

Schöne Aussicht vom Eingang und dem Restaurant. WLAN okay, heißes Wasser hatten wir auch. Der Gastgeber hat uns am zweiten Tag ein Frühstück zubereiten lassen, weil wir das Lunchpaket am ersten Tag nicht gut fanden. Dieses Frühstück war dann gut.

Unser Zimmer hatte ein winzig kleines Bad, die Tür ging nicht einmal richtig auf, um hineinzukommen. Es war auch nicht besonders sauber - keine Ahnung, wie die guten Bewertungen hier zustande kommen. Uns hat der Gastgeber mehrmals aufgefordert, ihn gut zu bewerten. Wollte auch seine eigene Tour an den Mann bringen. Das Zimmer war eiskalt, ohne Heizung (im April). Draußen war es wärmer als im Zimmer, wo niemals die Sonne hineinschien. Aussicht auf eine Mauer. Nur im Bett konnte man es im Zimmer aushalten. Es hat schlimm nach Zigarettenrauch gestunken. Extrem hellhörig, man hört jeden Gast im Aufenthaltsbereich. Party bis in die Nacht. Am ersten Morgen nur ein Lunchpaket an der Tür mit irgendwelchen Snacks. Welch Enttäuschung. Die Küche war dreckig und unaufgeräumt. Morgens kam jemand, um alles abzuwaschen. Weit weg von allem. Vielleicht wären die teuersten Zimmer besser gewesen, aber zu diesem Preis gibt es schöne Hotels fußläufig im Zentrum.
