Northern Lights glass cabin near national park and ski trail

250 km to the North from Rovaniemi, nearby Saariselkä travel center, Kiilopää, Kakslauttanen and Urho Kekkonen national park. Sivakkaoja-stream 60 m. Wooden hut with a partial glass roof (for watching northern lights), built in 2018. Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor. The glass roof on the north side. In summer time, hut is lighted by the summer night sun (no curtains). There are two beds under the glass roof, kitchen, washroom/WC and vestibule. The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite of changing weather. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning are included in rent. The cabin is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer. Wireless internet in the cabin (WiFi). No TV. Arctic Light Hut is a cabin with amenities in a calm and beautiful area. Urho Kekkonen National Park, Kiilopää and services of the Saariselkä travel center are well accessible. Distance to the border of the national park is 2 km along the path (distance along the road is 3 km). Hiking center Tievatupa (open in seasons) 250 m, restaurant Aurora Queen 800 m, Wilderness hotel Muotka in the other side of Sivakkaoja-stream 150 m (distance along the road is 1,5 km), Kiilopää 5,5 km, Saariselkä 14 km. Lighted ski trail, distance 100 m. The airport bus stop 1 km. Free parking and power socket for car heating.
