What was meant to be a one-night stay turned into four unforgettable nights. The calm atmosphere and genuine hospitality of Jan and his wife made it impossible to leave early.
The room is a masterpiece, filled with beautifully detailed wooden work that reflects true craftsmanship. Every corner of the property shows care and thought, exceeding our expectations in every way.
Jan’s kindness stood out the most , from sharing stories and insights to helping us with transport when we were stuck. The location is perfect, with nature all around, and the beach and penguins just a short walk away.
Safe, peaceful, and truly special, this place is a must-visit.

We initially planned to stay for just one night, but ended up extending our stay to four nights - a true reflection of how special this place is. Jan and his wife are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home from the very beginning.
The property itself is beautifully crafted, with stunning wooden interiors that showcase remarkable attention to detail and craftsmanship. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making our stay comfortable and effortless.
Jan went above and beyond by sharing his life experiences and even helping us with transport when we couldn’t find an Uber. The peaceful surroundings, nearby beach, and penguins within walking distance made the experience even more memorable. We also felt very safe throughout our stay.
One of the best places we’ve experienced in South Africa , highly recommended.

We booked one night but stayed four — says everything. Jan and his wife are amazing hosts, genuinely kind and helpful (even gave us a lift when we were stuck). The room is beautifully done with incredible woodwork and attention to detail. Peaceful, safe, and just a short walk to the beach and penguins. Truly special place.
