Alpaca Self Catering Cottage Kleinmond

It is a nice home away from home. Think comfortable 2 bedroom cottage! It is well equipped and adequate. It also has a sheltered braai and garden area which is lovely especially on windy evenings. There is plenty of seating too.The mountain views as soon as you step out of the gate are exquisite. You are staying just about at the foot of the mountain with mountain walks starting right there. It is also conveniently close to the main road and shops.The alpacas are fun and definitely all have their own personalities - we had lots of laughs!

Bathroom and kitchen are both small (as stated by the advertisement) so it may be difficult for serious cooks or young families trying to bath little ones.

Quiet and relaxing. Everything I needed was there.

The quiet, the open spaces around the property, the quiet and gently amusing alpacas in the garden that the host gave us carrots to feed them with.

A summer venue, We liked garden, braai area but our visit was in winter and as it was for work, we weren't there during the day to enjoy this. The alpacas were very sweet. This is a perfect venue for people with small children. there are soft toys and games and a changing mat and a spare mattress for a forth child to use in the lounge. Comfy bed in main bedroom but second bed uncomfortable with poor fitting linen. Good budget accommodation.

The second bed had no mattress protector and a slippery nylon sheet. Damp causing musty smell, paint peeling in toilet, discolored upholstery. Toilet cistern took 20 minutes to refill.
