It was a lovely little place to sleep a couple of nights. The bed was comfortable. The courtyard was lovely.

The water didn’t get very hot but that seems to be commonplace in all the places I’ve stayed in Puerto Rico.

What I really liked about the room was how clean and comfortable it was. The room was nice and cold, the location was perfect, and getting in and out was incredibly easy and convenient. Honestly, I loved everything about my stay and was having a great experience—until…

We walked in and immediately noticed a very strong cigarette smoke smell throughout the entire room. If this was supposed to be a smoking room, I feel that should have been clearly stated in the listing, but I did not see anything indicating that. We arrived around 2–3 a.m. and were extremely tired, so at that point, I wasn't going to contact anyone or try to resolve the issue in the middle of the night. We decided to just sleep through it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed because everything else about the room was nearly perfect. The smell of smoke was extremely strong and noticeable everywhere, including the bathroom. There really wasn't an area of the room where you couldn't smell it. It's unfortunate because, without the smoke smell, I would have had a completely different experience and review.
