@ Marbella Lane - Perfect Desert Escape

The compound was beautiful and perfectly located. Perhaps a bit too close to the road as some car noise could be heard, but it wasn’t overwhelming. The owner did a great job remodeling the previous property and the interior design was beautifully done. It was nice to have lots of bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and a separate cottage. Everything seemed well maintained and the property was very clean even in spaces not normally trafficked. The beds were also fantastic…pillows and sheets were heavenly.

Though everything looked beautiful, it was clear that many choices during the remodel were done more for aesthetics than quality. The refrigerators were artistic, but tiny. We had a group of seven people, but the fridge/freezers would have worked best for two. We ended up stuffing all three fridges and we found that things were not as cold as they should have been. Additionally, the showers had very low water pressure and no one could figure out how to use the handheld attachment. Again, beautiful and not very functional. Lastly, the sliding door to the back patio was enormously challenging to use. Doors should be an easy task to open and this one was puzzling every time we used it.

Overall great property and facilities. Previous cleaning crew left the place in great welcoming shape. Plenty of room for out entire party. Great location for either the national park of downtown

Very minor... the garbage disposal wasn't working. However, the host arranged for a maintenance person to come and correct the issue first thing the next day.
