About this house rental

Come and relax in this beautiful 2 story 3 bedroom, 2 bath, Beachside home located in Pirates Beach Galveston. It's just a short walk to the beach and will accommodate up to 8 people.

The primary bedroom is located upstairs with a king-size bed, its own bath with a walk-in glass brick shower and a private deck. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, cable TV, and a DVD player. The third bedroom has a pyramid bunk and twin trundle, cable TV, and a DVD player. The living room has a fireplace, cable TV with Hi-Def channels, DVD player, and a queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen has granite countertops with a big open breakfast bar, plus a dining room table. It is well equipped with a full-size frig., microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, blender, and a waffle maker. Home also has central air and heat, washer and dryer, internet, cabana shower, charcoal grill, and 3 separate decks.


PIRATES' BEACH

Pirates' Beach, located on the beachside of the island, East of Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park, is one of the island's most popular neighborhoods, as families have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for generations! Pirates' beaches are some of the best kept on the island, and many guests appreciate that vehicles are not able to drive on the beaches here (guests are able to park at one of the many neighborhood cul-de-sacs to easily carry beach gear to the beach). Pirates’ Beach has its own small grocery mart, liquor store, and even fresh seafood markets and bait shops. If you want to stock up on some essentials, Hummel’s General store is a one-stop shop for groceries, ice, fresh deli sandwiches, and pizza, pretty much all the goodies you may need for a vacation weekend.

Some of the properties Ryson manages require additional fees for things like parking passes, resort fees, amenity wristbands, etc. be paid to the HOA upon arrival directly. Resort amenities, including advertised elevators, require maintenance and from time to time may be unavailable for guest use. Every effort will be made by Ryson to notify the respective HOA. However, please understand, Ryson has no control or authority in completing necessary repairs or routine maintenance. If elevator use is a requirement for any guests during your stay, please contact Ryson prior to booking, and we're happy to go over available options (alternate elevator available on-premises or locating a better-limited mobility-friendly access unit).

Pirates' Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and the cable may not be available on all TVs.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.


EXTENDED STAYS

Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students, and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

The property itself was wonderful. Clean, cozy, comfy beds, well stocked, very homey, and a great location. Dealing with the property management company was not. From issues with check in and communication being delayed and insufficiently due to the fact that you’re dealing with a third party instead of the owners was really frustrating. I will not book another property that is managed by Ryson.

Great property to stay at. Walking distance to the beach, quite area to stay. Close enough to small stores for any thing one needs within one mile. There is a Dollar general need by for any quick buys.The house is great, its about 1,900 square feet with 3 bedrooms. Big enough for people to find a spot. The deck is big enough to just sit around and have fun. Rooms are nice sizes, living room was just right. Kitchen has everything you would need for cooking, coffee, toaster oven. Grill available on ground level. Plenty of parking space. We had 4 adults and a 5 year old. Plenty of beds for more people. I wanted the size and space so we dudnt feel boxed in and this house worked out great.

The home and location are wonderful. They met our needs well. When we got to the home it took us a few minutes to get the front door opened. We immediately sent a message. It was answered the following day. The second issue we found was that the front door did not lock from the inside. We had to prop a chair in front of the door for protection. We followed the dire on the door and the house book. We checked in on Friday. Submitted questions and asked for help on VRBO and via the texted number that had been corresponding with me. Sunday someone responded. I even sent a video to 2 places. On Sunday mid-morning I was told “we will send someone soon.” No one ever can. I followed up 2 more times and no one ever responded. Finally, there was a tropical depression that went into Mexico which cause a lot of wind and rain. Never once did anyone call or reach out to us. It would have been nice had they reached out to check on us and/or advised us to if we should leave or how we could have helped protect their home. This just struck us as odd.
