Welcome to Just Beachy! It is truly the perfect place to get away with your friends and family. It is only a few houses away from putting your toes in the sand or enjoying an evening of crabbing with the kiddos. The multiple decks offer a great way to wind down at the end of a full day of fun in the sun.
Enjoy the two separate living spaces. One for sleeping and quiet time, and the other for socializing and enjoying time with your guests. The house has multiple decks. One for dining after grilling up a nice meal. One for relaxing and lounging with a cool beverage, and another small area for taking in a good read or for a little quiet space. The large living space is furnished with a cozy sectional for relaxing and gathering. It is adorned with fun beachy decor throughout. The updated kitchen is the perfect place for gathering together while prepping the evening meal in the fully stocked kitchen. The counters have flecks of turquoise which bring the ocean inside. The wall of windows offers wonderful lighting that brings the beachy feel right to you indoors. There is also a wine fridge to keep your favorite bottles chilled as you wind down for the evening. Head out onto the deck for a meal, or can dine at the indoor dining table and counter bar stools.
When heading downstairs you will find the sleeping quarters of the property. It feels separate from the upstairs offering a quiet space to retreat when tired. Perfect for the kiddos to go when the grown-ups still want to play. The large master bedroom is a retreat in itself. It offers a king-size bed, private bath and access to the lounging area of the deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable, lovely queen bed. It also offers access to the deck where there are two seats for taking in a good read. The third bedroom offers a large bunk room. There are six twin built-in bunks. Plenty of space for the whole gang.
The owners have provided many extras for you while at this amazing home. Inside the sliding garage are several beach necessities, outdoor games, boogie boards, and a charcoal grill. Enjoy a cool beverage while grilling the evening meal and playing a game of ring and hook or relaxing on the porch swing. At the front of the neighborhood, there is Mario's pizza restaurant, Alex's seafood market, a liquor store, and the general store named Hummel's. Only 10 minute drive to the wonderful Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark. There are several wonderful dining options in Galveston as well as historic locations to visit. The historic Strand district and the Pleasure Pier are two must-visit locations.

The Vrbo service and the Just Beachy house management were excellent, making our reservation and arrival easy and convenient. The house was located near the beach so that the 8 members of our family could walk the block or so to the beach quickly at any time. I enjoyed the large wraparound decks. From there I could see my grandkids playing catch on the beach. For me, my favorite activity was sitting on the deck at sunset sipping wine and listening to music. The only negative was caused by a maid or previous guest have place a basket back into the freezer backwards. This prevent the freezer door from closing which resulted in the system freezing up and causing a loud annoying buzzing sound starting on the morning of our 2nd and final day. Fortunately, management responded promptly, sending the nice and well qualified handyman to correct the problem.

We stayed at just Beachy with our two boys and some family friends. The house is conveniently located close to the beach and is a good size. The boys loved the bunk room so that was a plus. The upstairs area has been remodeled and is very cozy. The downstairs area is a little dated with not a lot of furniture, like dressers, to be able to put your clothes somewhere. We ended up using shelves in the master bedroom closet. We did observe a very large cockroach also. The remote to turn on the light and fan in the bunk room was missing upon arrival so we had no way of turning those on, but our host was gracious and purchased a lamp for the room and had it delivered the very next day which we appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs and is very close to the beach with partial views of the ocean. Our host was very helpful and kind.

Very very relaxed , could’ve been more cleaner , I know it’s not the owners fault , little fixer uppers , but over all stay was very nice , great house just needs some small TLC . I would definitely stay here again
