Hibiscus is a top floor, one-bedroom unit that comfortably sleeps up to four adults. It is located near Cruz Bay at Serendip Vacation Condos. Tucked into the hillside, the condo features a private setting overlooking Serendip’s extensive natural beauty. Enjoy expansive sunset and water views from the large veranda.
Hibiscus is located on the top floor of the upper building at Serendip. Surrounded by a canopy of trees, it is a great location for watching the iguanas climb on the branches, watch the bananaquits fly by, or to hear the tree frogs in the evenings.
The oversized veranda features gorgeous views of Pillsbury Sound and St Thomas in the distance, and due to its western orientation has incredible sunsets all year round. The veranda has a dining table with chairs, sun loungers, patio rockers, and curtains which can be drawn to keep cool in the late afternoon sun.
Inside the condo, which is fully air conditioned, you will find a master bedroom with a comfortable king bed and in the living room are two additional daybeds (each sleep one). Curtains in the living room can be drawn to create additional privacy for additional guests.
The condo has a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows and secured, high-speed Internet.
A safe is available for storing your valuables.
The fully-equipped kitchen has all the essentials, including full-sized fridge and gas range, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, blender, kettle, and many other extras that make preparing meals a breeze! A second dining table inside can comfortably accommodate four guests.
The bathroom includes plenty of towels, a hair dryer, and toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.
The condo comes with everything you need for a trip to the beach, including beach chairs, a cooler, a sun shade, and beach towels. Snorkel gear, beach games, and paddleboards are additionally available on the property (first come, first served).
Shared amenities on the small 10-unit property are a sparkling plunge pool and pool deck, a gas grill, guest laundry, trash bins, and an onsite manager. Serendip also features a solar and battery backup power system.
A digital lock provides contactless check-in (unless you prefer an in-person greeting) and our onsite manager is available to help make sure your visit to St John is everything you dreamed of!

Hibiscus has the best view but the balcony gets very warm late afternoon. Balcony fans do help circulate the air, though. Condo well stocked with kitchen and bathroom needs. Plenty of towels, including beach. Mattress in bedroom VERY comfortable. Comfortable balcony furniture. The only negative is the bathroom needs a remodel. Shower is tiny.

There were beach toys and towels to borrow which was very useful for us. The deck and view was great and the sleeping arrangements worked great for our family. The neighborhood was a bit janky and we had lots of loud noises to deal with though to be fair it was over New Years. Getting into town involved walking up and down a steep hill with sparse sidewalks and difficult traffic, getting an expensive taxi, or driving our rental, failing to find parking and picking one of the first two choices. That wasn’t quite what we were picturing. In general I felt like it was priced like high luxury without quite delivering on that, though it otherwise worked out well for us and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at Serendip with my husband, sister and 1 yo son. Was a great experience, Melissa and Tom were wonderful hosts. The condo had an incredible view for sunsets, all the cooking utensils you might need, snorkel and beach gear you could borrow, and a lovely back patio that was great play space for our son. Highly recommend staying here.
