Such a great place to stay! The house was very clean and located just a few mins away from the business of Galveston’s sea wall. It’s on the water and the dock has a fishing light where the fish were biting most nights. Kids had a blast swimming in the pool, or the little cove of West Bay. We even rented a jet ski for a full day and could conveniently come and go with easily accessible boat dock located not too far inside the no wake zone. One of the bedrooms is downstairs and completely separate from the rest of the home which was perfect for our traveling family of wife, kids, dog, and also my mom. We had a blast and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. The local West End Pizza place and Waterman’s Restaurant were both excellent places to eat and less than 5 mins or less from the property.

Look good and fun thanks. The green light was not working the plug they had some kind of other plug thing it plugs into it was broken but disk connected that and plug it straight to the outlet and it work. Great location. Thanks beautiful and friendly people

What a great house and location!!! I was supposed to come here with my daughters for our annual mother daughter trip but Hurricane Beryl put a stop to that. We were able to reschedule and came down with my best girl friends and had an absolute blast! The pool is great! The top deck is so relaxing!!

We stay at Jamaica Beach every summer and we really enjoyed this rental. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with kitchen supplies, the kayaks and nice patio furniture were appreciated. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes outside. We will be back!

This home was a perfect size, 3 bedroom with a beautiful canal view!! Everything was exactly as stated on the post. There was a bike, three kayaks, pool, lots of outdoor chairs and side tables. Bring containers and ziplock bags for leftovers if you plan to cook meals. We brought extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags as we needed them for a week’s stay in a vacation rental house. We were thrilled to stay here! It was about 10 miles to the downtown Galveston area but we loved the quiet neighborhood of Jamaica Beach. Thank you Ryson Vacation Rentals and VRBO!

I can’t fit in all the good things about this place! The pool, the fishing was unbelievable off the peir, the sunsets, the beautiful yard and was so nice for our dogs because each area was divided and had gates which would also be good if you had children. We will be back to this beach house for sure, we go to Galveston every year as a family and this was the best place we’ve ever stayed 😊

This was the perfect house for my family. Plenty of room for us. The pool & fence were perfect for my 2 yr. Old grandson. Had everything you needed except spices, which wasn’t a big deal; I just brought from home. I had talked about going to Port A or something next year and all of my grown kids told me no, this was the perfect house for us. The ONLY thing I didn’t like was that my son got talked to by the PD for launching his boat in the neighborhood boat launch. Said he needed a permit from city hall. I wish we had been aware of that beforehand, but will know next time. All in all, perfect family home and beyond great for young kids with all of the fencing 😌

Excelllent! Had the neighborhood and Galveston to ourselves. The weather was dry and not too hot ( 5/1-5/5). Be careful of the master bed frame, it will catch you toes (ouch!). We didn’t get to get in the pool other than cool the feet off from climbing all those stairs from shopping!

My family of 6 (including 2 teenage boys) really enjoyed this home. The whole family was able to enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking. We also really enjoyed sitting outside on the huge deck and eating out meals or having our morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time here, out of town family meeting up with TX family for a birthday weekend at the beach. The house is great for fishing, lounging by the pool, visiting on the deck, kayaking on the canals, and even jaunts to the beach. The house is well appointed with plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, etc. It was great for the dog too, completely fenced in as long as you mind the gates…very safe. We quite enjoyed ourselves…thanks for a great weekend!

Easy check in. Property very clean and as pictured. The master bedroom is actually downstairs and you must go outside to get upstairs. This was great for us! My husband and I were downstairs and the other 4 friends in our group slept upstairs. Great seating outside while we hung out all hours of the day!! Thank you. We had a lovely time here.

We loved having our own private pool and the wonderful view! It was very kid friendly, making each individual area safe for small children and dogs. Each section pool area, fishing/dock area and balcony area etc. where all gates with licks so young children were safe. It was very well stocked with all the comforts of home and things to do for the family! Would definitely stay again!

We would definitely stay here again. Our group consisted of eight people (two families of four) and there was plenty of space for us. With our two small dogs, having a completely fenced in yard made it a relaxing time for us. The pool was great, we enjoyed fishing right off the deck and kayaking around the inlets. Everything about the house and furnishings looked and felt new.

Nice property. wish is was a little closer in. great neighbor hood. the house was clean but shower could have been cleaner and a dead roach on bedroom floor which made it seem like it was not cleaned great. No bath mats at showers which was dangerous. Scared to use towels as a bath mat because you get charged if get soiled. other than those things house had most everything. Wonder why they charge so much for cleaning when you leave dishes have to be taken care of and all towels in one location and all trash removed. I would think that should be part of cleaning fee.

Overall, we loved this house, it was in a quiet neighborhood. The kids loved the pool and deck and we loved the gates around everything. We rented a golf cart from Rick's and drove it to the beach, they were very easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and amenities, this house has everything you could want and more. Beautiful views and perfect for kids! My 12 year old daughter and 4 year old love fishing and swimming so they had a great time. Trips to Galveston and to the beach were easy and enjoyable too. Would definitely stay here again. Awesome outdoor space! Only thing to consider is the lower level bedroom/bath is only accessible from the outside, but it worked out great for us.
