This house has a six (6) person guest limit. This is not a "party house". If that's what you want, that's fine, but please look elsewhere, because loud and late parties will be shut down, and eviction may occur. Small, relatively quiet gatherings are welcome.
This quaint updated mid-century modern home features woodgrain vinyl planking installed 12/2021 over a cork underlayment providing a soft and quiet surface for your bare feet, updated kitchen and bath with granite counters. One of the best canal water views on Galveston's West End with lots of windows. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has 4 single beds (including daybed with trundle).
NOTE:
Amenities Include: Central air/heat, TV's in all rooms living room and both bedrooms, Internet, DVD player (with selection of DVD movies), gas BBQ grill, 2 kayaks, plenty of outdoor furniture including dining table.
Microwave, coffee pot, pots and pans, air fryer, dishes, toaster, linens and towels furnished. Public boat launch at Jamaica Beach marina.
Pets OK with upon approval and $100/pet non-refundable deposit. Non-aggressive breeds only.
No smoking except outside - NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND PLEASE!
Pool (located next to the City Park on Jolly Roger Rd/Bob Smith Rd) is open daily (except Tuesday's) from 10:00AM to 8:00 PM between mid-May thru mid-September (weather permitting). Passes are required and not provided.
A few short minutes to: THE BEACH! 2 restaurants (plus Subway), grocery store, liquor store, golf cart/water sports rental, home furnishings/gift/boutique shop, and...Buck's West Bar
20 minutes to Moody Gardens & Schlitterbahn
25 minutes Historical Pleasure Pier
30 minutes to The Strand
You can usually check-in earlier than 4. Even if another guest is checking out the day of your arrival, the house is typically cleaned and ready by 2:30 (or earlier) after which you are welcome to check-in. Late check-out can be accommodated upon request if no guests are booked to check-in that day.

Matt did a great job of notifying me ahead of time that there was something wrong with the oven. We were not going to need the oven, but appreciated the advanced communication. Any time I reached out about something we couldn't figure out, he was very prompt in getting back to me. The only warning I will give everyone is that the water gets very hot. Just be careful turning on the water in other parts of the house when you are taking a shower. We always enjoy getting to spend time on the canal as well.

Overall nice experience. Clean and quiet. It rained alot while visiting but still enjoyed the stay. Host was very communicative and friendly. Would recommend staying.
