This house is a 10-12 minute walk to the beach (3 blocks). We loved that there was an outdoor shower where we could rinse the sand off before dragging it into the house. The couch and chairs in the living room were SO COMFY! We loved just relaxing there after a long day. We also enjoyed the front porch; our older teenage kids hung out there in the evening. It is a great reading spot and when the ocean breeze kicks in....SO NICE!
The decor was nice and beachy themed. There was a basket full of reading (books) for the book lovers out there, the house also had a puzzle for those interested. I thought these were nice touches to keep people entertained. My only suggestion would be to add shampoo/conditioner/lotion to the travel size items in the bathroom. We had been on a week long away from home, at a hotel that had supplied everything. This was a last minute decision to head to the beach, so having some of those things handy would be nice for families like us that were there for a short visit and may not have been prepared. Overall this was an excellent visit and we will keep this property in mind the next time we visit Galveston!

I was a bit disappointed in several small things. Overall it was a lovely house and our trip with family was a good one. But the small things made it annoying.
Refidgetator didn’t seem to work at first and management company didn’t respond so we had to run to buy ice and store food in a cooler for the night. Management should’ve been more responsive.
Only 5 towels when we were registered for 9 people. Come on folks!
No hot pad so anything cooked we used a towel. Only one kitchen towel and 2 dishwasher pods. Stingy on the supplies. I am glad I thought to bring extra supplies for the kitchen. Extra paper towels and even extra TP. I think you can do better.
