We had a very good time. The house is a great location to the beach. It has wagons, coolers, chairs, beach toys, anything you would need for the beach! Inside the house was nice and clean. Plenty of towels. It has lots of leftover things in the pantry for use, some of it was a little old, but very useful if needed. The grill was a little rough, could use a new one, but there was propane provided. Overall, we would stay at this property again!

This was our second time staying at this property. We enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beach is within a 7 min walk. The beds were very comfortable. The game table was a treat and my daughter and her friend had fun playing the various games. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.

My husband, 15 yo son, and two babies under two stayed here, and it was great. The kitchen was stocked with non perishables, bathrooms had travel sized toiletries, and there were even beach toys, wagons, and small coolers for the beach. It really made packing easier. There house is about three blocks from the beach, so it’s easy to pack a wagon and walk over. I loved that it was close enough to walk back with my babies for their naps.

We came to town for the homes tour. The rental met all our needs and was very safe and comfortable. We were disappointed to realize that the 2nd bath is down by the driveway and cannot be accessed without leaving the living area. The home had a well stocked kitchen with cookware and serving ware abundant. There was a lot of non perishable pantry items which was great for the 1st mornings coffee time. I slept better than I sleep in my own bed. It was very quiet, peaceful, comfortable and safe.

Initially, the house was wonderful. Very clean and house amenities were nice. House is located in a lovely neighborhood and the walk to beach wasn’t too long. Our only complaint is that the hot water stopped working midway through our stay and property manager was notified several times. The issue wasn’t fixed before we left. Also, while the house has a lot of beach materials- chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs were rusted, umbrellas were broken, and boogie boards unusable. One plus was the wagon available to bring materials to beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet little house but had a few things that weren’t what we expected. The washing machine was broken and had stagnant water sitting in it. We didn’t realize that there was only 1 bathroom upstairs and that the second one was located downstairs. The railing near the keypad entrance door needs attention before some tries to lean on it. The deck wasn’t in great shape and shoes needed to be worn while walking on it. It was very clean and the neighborhood was lovely. It needs some TLC but we enjoyed our stay.

Less than a five minute walk to the beach to bedroom one queen bed and one toddler bed two bunkbeds one with two twin beds the other one with a queen bed and a twin bed and a queen size pull out couch bed the kitchen is fully stocked with all pots pans and dishes that you could possibly need And also spices in the pantry they provide you with plenty of things to do with the kids boardgames and a mini pool table plenty of linen and pillows and towels in both bathrooms we have a bathroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs air conditioner works absolutely wonderful no problems there and they even provided an extra fan just in case there was eight of us and we have plenty a room they have an outdoor patio downstairs and upstairs they have washer and dryer picnic tables plenty of lounge chairs plenty of seating for the whole family and they provide you with beach towels this is all the good stuff that I wanna say about the property before I go on to the negative stuff ❤️❤️❤️ Amanda and her husband had to come and tape up the bottom door knob to the utility room because it got jammed thank you.👍 The washer does not drain properly the umbrellas were broken the wagon and all of the beach toys were filled with sand the kids lifevest were not zipping properly the hammocks were all torn up the barbecue grill was rusty and filthy and upstairs in the living room the door that goes out to the balcony someone made a hole in the wall and the mini blinds were messed between the dining room and little game area a few of them were bent and they're made out of aluminum metal. overall we had a great time while we were there these are just minor things that need to be fixed for the next person that rents out this home please update your pictures on this site so this way people know what to expect and what not to expect thank you so much🙏🙏

House is so inviting with comfortable beds, great kitchen/dinning area to use and enjoy. Great location to the beach and Galveston. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach getaway.

We really enjoyed our time here, the spot was a short walk from the beach and a close drive to many attractions. We spent a lot of time in the morning on the back deck, soaking in the sun and jamming out to the neighbor's tunes. Friendly neighborhood, a very well-kept area that does not disappoint!

My daughter wanted a beach house getaway for her 17th birthday. This house was perfect! We had 4 of her friends join us and the 2nd bedroom was able to accommodate them all. The house was so clean and nicely decorated. It has a gaming table that has multiple game options that the kids really loved. It was just a short 6 min walk to the beach. We could have stayed a whole week and had been perfectly happy! I definitely recommend!

My family of 7 stayed here the last 4 nights and it’s been a great experience. It’s nice and clean, comes with lots to do at the beach or to have on the beach. lol sand toys, chairs, boogy boards and a wagon to pull it with. There is a ton of seating and comfortable. And it’s a short distance to the ocean. I would stay here again.

Never rent this home. They have four security cameras and watch every move outside of the home. No idea if the have them inside home. They have to adhere to rules vrbo has and they do not follow the rules.

House felt like home, we had everything we needed, clean with a relaxing vibe, enjoyed having meals together inside and outside patio. Spent 4 nights here over Spring Break with 3 kids. Clean, modern, short walk to the beach. We really appreciated the wagon and beach toys and the storage downstairs was perfect for storing that stuff each evening. The kids enjoyed the gaming table and hammock. Great place. Had a nice stay here. Galveston was quiet as we snuck in before spring break so there were a few things like the Pleasure Pier that we missed out on, but overall we loved the area. House was clean and easy to get to, making for the perfect home base. Pirates Beach is clean and there were a lot of shells to pick through.

I would highly suggest this house for anybody! It was very clean had a ton of great beach house amenities such as a really nice full bath downstairs, outside shower, tons of beach toys and chairs, towels, etc. Our kids LOVED the bunk bed room and toddler bed in the master bedroom. All of the adults loved the beautiful patio. I would highly recommend and would rent this house again!

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy house in Pirate's Beach. Easy walk to the beach with lots of great beach items provided. Spacious dining and living room area with a nice kitchen with all the upgrades and amenities needed for the stay. Beds are comfortable and bathroom/shower excellent. Cable TV provided with nice flat screen and comfortable couches. Outside deck space is large with nice dining table and patio furniture for lounging. Downstairs outdoor shower for getting the sand washed off and private, full bathroom with shower. Overall great stay and highly recommended!

Overall enjoyed this beach house. Nice amenities with the exterior shower for rinsing off after the beach, downstairs bathroom, fun beach toys provided, nice kitchen and new appliances. Upstairs open floor plan is comfortable with a big dining table and fun pool table. Appreciated having Xfinity cable rather than on demand TV. Comfortable beds and great bathroom and shower. Outdoor space is great with spacious deck with lounging area with couch and chairs plus a deck dining table with outdoor umbrellas provided. Recommended for a nice stay in Pirate's Beach! Enjoy!!

I will definitely stay here again. It worked well for me, my wife, and our 4 little boys (7yrs old and younger). The home provides everything you need for a nice weekend getaway... it’s also close to the beach with a general convenience store and a gym across the road. Beaches in area are clean, people were nice, and I was able to use the gym for $10 a day. This is a great place to stay.

We did enjoyed our stay. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and it seemed quite spacious for our family of 5. We didn’t get to enjoy many of the amenities this house has to offer like the large inviting deck and the hammock, the grill and the cafe lights downstairs because it literally rained all the time we were there. We had a good time indoors, nonetheless. The kids kept themselves occupied playing on the mini pool table and the grown ups cooked a couple of meals in the nice, large kitchen. Despite the rain we did walk to the beach a few times, which is just a couple of blocks away, and enjoyed watching the waves. The house was clean, tastefully decorated and had all what is needed to spend a comfortable time away from home.

We love the property, the cleanliness, the kids plates, the suit drying rack in the shower, the wagon for taking kids/stuff to the beach. Minor things to improve, but not huge issues. Code provided in check-in email didn't work, but quick call got us a working one. Wifi was spotty when working and down for a night so we used our data. And couldn't figure out how to make living room blu ray player work, but used the one in the bunk room for kid movies. Thanks for a 2nd great stay, I'm sure we'll be back.

Check in process was easy- house was clean! A quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed the easy walk to the beach. Definitely used the wagon and toys for the kiddos and made it much easier. If we stayed longer we might even rents a golf cart! Easy access to store as well. Overall- it was a lovely place for my family of four and the grandparents to spend the week. We will be back!

I been renting my homes on vrbo for 19 years. This home if perfect for a small party. Everything here is first class. If I was the owner I would put a queen bed In the small bedroom and remove a bunk bed. Although I only had one person the other bedroom has too many beds. If two couples came then would not like sleeping in bunk beds. That’s just a suggestion. House is great.

Cute and clean. Close to the beach in a nice neighborhood. The house worked well for our family of 6. A little tricky at times sharing the 1 bathroom upstairs inside the house, but nothing that couldn't be managed. (And everyone loved the shower when it was their turn!)
