This will be one of our best memories of our trip.

This is a wonderful place, perfectly situated with a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden and the ocean. There was always a cool breeze and lots of light. It was very quiet and private. Our host was charming and unusual and everything about our stay was perfect! We would definitely go back.

Perfect location to stay when in Zicatela.

It was clean, had great amenities and was in a perfect location. Any questions or requests were quickly responded to by Woody or Antonia. It is quiet and easy to get to any of the places around it. Lots of close markets and restaurants.

This is a home away from home, the property is wonderful, the beaches and Woody too. Just book it!

We loved this property. The host Woddy is an exceptional guy, extremely helpful and very friendly. Antonia who works with him was a pleasure to deal with, we arrived late but she was there to greet us and then we discovered a bottle of wine and coffee to settle us in. These are the small things in life that make a super host. The property is much larger than expected, has all the utensils and exceeded our expectation. Woddy helped us with our grocery shopping, Antonia with our laundry...I just couldn't speak highly enough of our host and their kindness. we would highly recommend you stay At Titlanhongo!

The only very minor issue and it is very minor is that you have to cross a motorway to get to steps that lead you to the beach. This of course is not an issue if you are driving. We did not rent a car for our stay as they were very reliable taxi's available on demand.

Excellent comfort, gardens, people. I booked it for the startlink wifi (had work to do), so that's the bonus. Quiet, tranquil, all good. Will return.

I like to walk, so it worked for me. If you are mobility challanged, you'll want a car or use taxi's. There are a couple places to eat within a block or two.

Woody, our host provided us with all the help we needed to have a wonderful stay. we would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed the peaceful tropical setting. The ocean view is spectacular from the second floor apartment The bedroom is nice and quiet at night. The landscaping and tropical plants around the grounds are awesome.

There is really nothing we didn’t like here.

Superb

The apartment is lovely, set in a beautiful garden and Woody is a wonderful host. The location of the apartment is set back from the highway but a very short walk takes you down to the highway to cross with steps immediately in front of you to take you down to the main beach street of Puerto Escondido and is quite central. There are actually a few different sets of steps you can choose from! Having an evening drink on the balcony of the apartment watching the sun go down was a delight. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything in working order. Puerto Escondido provided a beautiful beach, plenty of places to eat and drink and was well connected to other sights to see. We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Woody's place again.

Incredible spacious apartment with everything you could need, sunset view, awesome host

Woody is an incredible host and person. He told us everything about the city and gave us great recommendations and much needed information. The property is gorgeous with a stunning view of the sunset. The Apartment itself was perfect, it had everything you could want and need (spacious room, large kitchen with all appliances, balcony, bathroom, Starlink internet and purified water you can drink out of the tap). The property garden as well deserves a mention.

Only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

A real gem

A luxurious property with all mod cons, perfectly located and very private. A erodite, warm, friendly and helpful host who we found to be comletely charming and hope to see again. ( A special thamks for the lunch Woody and Antonia a highlight of outr stay). We loved this place, the host and his pets.A fantastic stay. ( PS it's even better than the photos)

Amazing place!

The property is in a very safe gated area and the landscape and gardens around the house are beautiful. It’s very peaceful here and the balcony has an amazing view of the world famous Zicatela beach. Woody and his staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very surprised at how nice everything was.

Quiet, peaceful apartment with stunning view.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Quiet, with fabulous views of the bay, set in a wonderful garden. The apartment was comfortable, with a great shower, brand new air conditioning, and good wifi. Woody, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing spot! Quiet, close to the beach, you have amazing view(can enjoy sunset from there as well). The place is pretty big, comfortable to work from (has good connection for Puerto). Boendet var helt fantastiskt! Det var väldigt rent, det såg ut exakt som på bilderna. Det fanns varmvatten och att man kunde dricka vattnet ur kranen var utmärkt. Woody och Antonia var väldigt trevliga och måna om att vi skulle ha det så bra som möjligt!

Vi gillade allt med boendet.

Mooi en ruim appartement vlakbij het Zicatela strand

Het appartement was heel ruim en schoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een prima verblijf was aanwezig. Het bed was comfortabel. We hebben prima geslapen, ook omdat het heel rustig was. Woody is een behulpzame, vriendelijk man. Ook zijn personeel stond voor ons klaar. Toen ik vroeg of het mogelijk was om mijn kleding te laten wassen werd dit snel geregeld en het kostte weinig. De auto konden we voor het huis parkeren. Het strand Zicatela ligt aan de overkant van de weg.

Onze enige opmerking is dat het niet veilig is om naar andere toeristische wijken van Puerto Escondido te lopen vanwege het ontbreken van voetpaden en het drukke verkeer. We hebben dit zelf niet als vervelend ervaren, omdat we een auto gehuurd hadden.

Perfekte Wohlfühl-Oase in Strandnähe

Die Unterkunft ist eine ruhige Wohlfühl-Oase. Zum Strand und zu verschiedenen Restaurants läuft man nur etwa fünf Minuten. Weitere Strandabschnitte in Puerto Escondido sind unkompliziert und schnell mit dem Taxi oder einem Colectivo zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war für uns perfekt: Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der Balkon gemütlich, und das Schlafzimmer sehr grosszügig. Der Inhaber und seine Haushälterin sind ausgesprochen liebevolle und hilfsbereite Menschen – sie kümmern sich herzlich um ihre Gäste. Wir können die Hacienda Tilantongo definitiv weiterempfehlen!

La ubicación es excelente (frente a la plaza de Zicatela). Cerca del centro y a la vez lejos. La calle no tiene tránsito y no está asfaltada, pero es tranquila y silenciosa. Tiene un hermoso parque, un balcón que mira al mar desde su barranca. Las instalaciones son super cómodas: la habitación, el baño, la cocina y su parque son un 10

Hay que hacer dos cuadras hasta la avenida principal para conseguir un taxi. De noche, son muy desoladas.

Estancia tranquila y grata

Toda la habitación es muy amplia y cómoda. Los ventiladores y el aire acondicionado funcionan muy bien. El refrigerador es grande y tiene hielo para consumo diario. Los cubiertos y platos son de buena calidad. Lo mejor, el trato amable y grato de Woody y Antonia y la gran comida que nos ofrecieron.

La puerta de cristal tiene un desperfecto en la cerradura. No hay estacionamiento dentro de la propiedad, el auto se queda afuera, aunque todo es seguro.

Schöne Unterkunft

Den Schlüssel bekam ich vom Vermieter. Dieser wohnt auf dem Gelände. Links neben dem Tor befindet sich eine Art Kabel. Sieht sehr unscheinbar aus, aber da betätigt man eine Glocke. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und man kann ihn nutzen. Es gibt einen Grillplatz, den kann man auch nutzen. Das kam für mich aber nicht in Frage. Der Vermieter ist ein Amerikaner (sehr freundlich) und hat mir eine Flasche Wein kalt gelegt. Es stand auch Milch und Kaffeepulver bereit. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so benötigt. Ich habe mich morgens selbst versorgt. Salz/Pfeffer sollte man sich mitnehmen. Ein kleine Flasche für 22 Peso holte ich beim OXXO und Obst/Gemüse bei eine, kleinen Laden. Die kleine Strasse vor dem Tor ist schon etwas erschreckend, aber der Rest ist super. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum und es ist alles sehr ruhig gelegen. Für Menschen mit *Gehbehinderung* ist diese Unterkunft eher nicht geeignet. Klimaanlage und Internet funktioniert super. In der Küche läuft der Kühlschrank mit Tiefkühlfach. Der Gasherd funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Bett ist schön gross und bequem. Die Zimmer haben eine besonderen Charme. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl geführt. Zimmerreinigung hatte ich abgesagt, ist aber vorhaben. Das war für meine 4 Nächte nicht nötig. Vom Flughafen zum Hotel hab ich 350 Peso bezahlt. Man ist ja da etwas gefangen. Uber ist nicht verfügbar. Zum Flughafen habe ich mich einfach an die Strasse gestellt und ein Taxi angehalten. Das kam dann 150 Peso und etwa 20 Minuten Fahrzeit.
