Excellent will definitely book again

Well organised. Great staff at reception which was 24 hour. Clean modern facilities. Perfectly placed for a weekend break.

Breakfast on the Sunday was very hectic, lack of tables, bit of a ‘free for all’ around the buffet area. I think staff sickness let it down as the staff that were there were so busy.

Nice place to stay if you have a small pet!

The staff was very nice, and the food, including breakfast, was good. We have a small dog and we was allowed to sit with us at the restaurant, which was wonderful.

The location isn't beautiful by any means - dark, industrial feeling area, though it was close to public transport and some other shops.

Small rooms but had everything in that was needed so that wasn't a problem. Bathroom good size. Very nice and clean.

Only served a buffet in the restaurant on the Saturday evening. Breakfast was also a little basic.

Good breakfast, clean and well presented hotel in general. Close (~10mins) to nearest metro station. Couple of reasonable bars/restaurants nearby, but not a huge selection.

Shower didn't work, but was fixed quickly. Asked for an iron & ironing board to be taken to my room while I had breakfast, was told to pick one up from reception after eating. It was only discovered on my return that none were available, and a rush ensued to locate one. The room was small with little room to move around the bed, windows opening to the street side allow noise from the cobbled street with traffic, curtains did not fully reach the ground meaning sunlight woke me around 6am every day. At ~€870 for four nights (inc. breakfast), I expected more.

Clean, nicely decorated, good breakfast, Modern Well located for me

Rooms are rather small, very compact. The wire of the hair dryer is a little too short to dry the Head without being tired from pulling.

Outstanding

The location is ideal, roughly a 10 minute walk from Ottensen S-Bahn station, which is on the same line as the airport. 20 minutes on the S-Bahn has you in the city centre, and Hamburg is a beautiful city. The room was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable (so much so that we slept right through breakfast on the morning after our first night), the bathroom was well laid out and the television had a large number of German and international channels, so there was plenty of choice of things to watch. The staff were really nice and personable, and the check in process was very easy.

There were no downsides at all.

Comfortable stay

The hotel had everything I needed for a short business trip, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was always packed and lively, seems to be a very popular place!

Room was fairly small, I didn't have the buffet breakfast as it seemed quite expensive and the room itself can get pretty hot in summer

Room was very clean, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Room had coffee machine, would have preferred a kettle..I didn't think to ask at reception but the staff were very polite and approachable so I'm sure that they would have sourced me one ic they could have.

Double bed is 2 beds together. Not a problem for a couple but if a single person in the bed then you have to sleep on one of them... But I think this is standard in hotels now.

Apart from the flies - a good hotel, with excellent staff, fantastic food and a relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic breakfast, clean rooms, great & attentive staff.

Too many flies, gave impression that nothing was being done to address this, therefore quite unhygienic in terms of eating in the restaurant.

A wonderful and affordable hotel on the West side of Hamburg

Great comfortable and affordable hotel with large rooms and friendly staff. Enjoyable bar in the evening. Proximity to several bus stops and not far from a new S-Bahn stop Ottensen. We were completely satisfied.

Comfy rooms, very clean and well equipped. Good WiFi if you plan to work remotely. Located in close proximity of the bus stations that take you in max 30 minutes to the city center. Area is pretty quiet.
