Great location, easy to find with the instructions given. Lounge was spacious with a comfy sofa and chair

Wi-Fi not the strongest for two laptops, ok for streaming and web surfing from tablets. thankfully I had my own 4G/5G router which enabled me to work from the property. Main kitchen surfaces were clean, top of the microwave and a couple of other surfaces felt of grease. Bathroom doesn’t have great ventilation, the finishes looked tired and the floor in the doorway was unlevel. Outside space was overgrown and the table/chairs outside were too dirty to be used which was a shame.

Parking was a pain, when I got there the space allocated to the property was taken. It took 3 hours before an alternative was offered, not a good start to my stay.

The location is good in terms of being fairly close to Bath township, once you get to know the way. It is spacious in that the lounge room is large and kitchen size is good, but the bedroom (at the rear) was so small that we could not fit our clothes or 2 bags in there and had to keep them on the lounge room at the front. The property has been renovated recently and some aspects are really pleasant, like the seperate little dining room and good kitchen, but the renovation still feels incomplete. The front lounge room does catch the afternoon sun, and the property was quiet.

This is a basement property, information which was concealed in the listing and not provided until quite late. The hosts did not provide the codes and entry information until very late, about 5 or 6 hours before our arrival, making it more difficult for us while travelling - it would have been better if these had been provided 24 or 48 hours beforehand like other properties, thereby allowing us to access this using the wifi at our previous stay. When this information was provided, it was clearly a basement (proceed DOWN from street level), which I would not mind (I have stayed happily in basements before) if they had been up front so I knew what I was buying. A bottle of wine was provided as an apology for the "confusion". The front entry is very dirty, and the back garden is overgrown and mossy, therefore unusable. Some of the cooking pots/pans in the kitchen were rusty and need replacing. Parking was very difficult with double yellow lines at the front and only PERMIT holders allowed to park in the streets nearby. Other properties we have stayed at have provided us with a permit for our stay. Instead, we found paid parking (expensive) at the Morrisons supermarket about 1 km away, walking our luggage from there.
