About this cottage rental
Charming traditional cottage tucked away in the heart of Port Isaac. Electric fire. Patio.
Amenities: Night storage heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TV with Freeview, DVD player, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Patio with bench. One pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking.
Town: Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

The cottage is in a perfect location- 30 seconds walk to the beach/harbour. Parking is obviously an issue in Port Isaac, but it’s always good to get a bit of exercise…The cottage was perfect for our needs, but a little more information within the property (some kind of folder/journal?) would have been useful. Showers were also great, which was very useful after a day on a cold beach. Will definitely come back.
