Douglass House

The house was beautiful, so clean and comfortable, was disappointed that the pool was not with the house. We never saw the pool at Tybee Island. The house was perfect and l would stay again if l were to go back to Savannah.

Just the pool location. Well and the parking, if you go to this house bring only one vehicle because there is parking for only one car.

Perfect location. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were super comfy! Easy walking access to great eateries, river access and shopping. Highly recommend and will stay again on our next visit to Savannah. Rental agency was great to work with as well.

Can’t think of anything we disliked.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Douglass House for Valentine’s Day weekend, and we had a wonderful experience! The location is excellent—once we parked, we were able to walk or Uber everywhere we wanted to go. The house itself is beautifully updated, offering plenty of space for two couples. It was spotless upon arrival and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the home’s design and amenities made it feel both stylish and welcoming. One thing to note is that the house is in a lively area, with a popular restaurant directly across the street and a historic home offering tours nearby. This does mean there’s some noise in the evenings, and tour groups frequently pass through, but it also adds to the charm and vibrancy of staying in such a historic district. Overall, we loved our stay and would absolutely return. If you’re looking for a well-appointed home in a prime Savannah location, the Douglass House is a fantastic choice!

I would suggest you have some USB ports for phone charging available in the kitchen and bedrooms.
