I read a review that this hotel is a hidden gem and yes indeed it is! Great location, friendly staff, lovely food and drinks. Super clean and we loved our room, it was superb. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very remote and relaxing location. You get a very good chance to emerse yourself in rural Belgium. A great chance to taste the entire range of Chimay beer. The patio is very nice on a nice day. The food in the restaurant was good once we did get served.
Drunk people speaking loudly in the hallway for an extended time at bed time. The service in the bar and restaurant was poor at best. Three of us sat at our table with empty glasses for far too long. I don't expect to be doted on, this was just poor service. We visited most of the Trappist breweries in Belgium and this, despite amazing beer, was the worst experience.
