Atmosphere

The overall stay was lovely, but Dela and Emre were truly the two people who made our experience feel personal, warm, and memorable.

Housekeeping could have been better. We had to repeatedly ask for certain things, and the issue did not feel like a language barrier, but more a lack of attention to detail and understanding of guest requests. The front desk staff, especially during check-in and check-out, could also improve. Their attitude felt a little off and not as warm or polished. One example was the minibar situation: we were asked whether we wanted to add an additional amount to our card for minibar use, and when we declined, the minibar was immediately removed from the room on the first day. This felt unnecessary and slightly rude. As Muslim guests, we were also disappointed that the bathrooms did not have a Muslim shower facility. There were no clear markings in the room for the Qibla direction, and no prayer mat or Qur’an available in the room. We also noticed music being played even when the adhan could be heard, which felt disappointing in a Muslim country. Respecting religious identity and guest needs would make the experience feel more thoughtful, respectful, and complete.
