The Century I units, located in Ocean City, Maryland, are unique split-level vacation townhouses, most offering a spectacular view of both the Atlantic Ocean and Assawoman Bay. Central air conditioning, all appliances, bayside and oceanfront balconies. High speed lobby elevators and separate beach elevator. Most units offer free HBO and Showtime. Two bedroom, two bath vacation rental units available. Non-refundable building registration fee required.
Things to Know
A non-refundable $50 building administration fee is due immediately upon check-in. The fee covers guests' use of all amenities plus parking for 1 vehicle. A second pass is $10 a night or $70 a week. Towing is enforced with vehicles without a pass. Charges occur and parking permits are used from May 1 through October 31. Off season, parking is not charged nor are parking permits handed out.
The indoor pool at the Century1 building does not open until Memorial Day weekend and closes the first of October.
The Century 1 bulding includes climbing steps to reach your vacation rental.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This rental is nice for the price. The 2 views of the ocean is beautiful. The location I like too. Being located at a light you can go both ways on coastal highway without having to do a U-turn.

You can’t beat having two balconies over looking the ocean. What a wonderful place to go for a beach getaway.

The view is excellent. Amenities good. Not the condo, but Century 1 very clean. Wi-Fi experienced problems. Would definitely rent again. Thank you.

The condo has nice views but needs renovated. There was a broken chair on deck, my wife got shocked by the vacuum because of a faulty power cord. The toilet needed adjusted constantly orbit would run. The one fan was missing the cord to adjust the speed. The fridge leaked water from freezer to fridge. The blinds did not work on both deck doors. The dumbest feature was the elevator on the right side of building. They make you use only this elevator to take up carts and beach goers have to use this one only. I waited 30 minutes just to take my luggage to the car to leave. The condo is on the 4th floor but the building hoes up to 25th. So everytime you would hit button, it would skipme and pick ip the higher floors. So you are battling people leaving and coming and the people taking items to the beach on trying to use the same elevator. Dumbest consept ever. The building is old and you could tell that was never thought of. All in all folks, don't let the view draw you in. Public service announcement, stay clear of this one!
