Beautiful Waterfront Townhouse on Saltwater Diving Lagoon - beach, pools, tennis

The host was great. Had a little snafu at the start but the host jumped into action to fix and compensated us for the trouble.The place was great and we enjoyed our stay!

The condo was just as described and even more inviting in person. The decor is absolutely perfect for the Florida Keys. The newer appliances were appreciated, especially the washer and dryer! We loved the location and, when we weren't on our fishing adventures, we enjoyed the pools. It was a very safe community and neighbors were very friendly.

The property was clean. The initial check-in at the gate was not great (no guard present) but we figured it out. We really enjoyed the property. Would stay here again

The unit is newly remodeled. The kitchen is outstanding with high quality utensils, cookware, appliances, and host also provided some spices and other basics. Great location and pictures are accurate. But the stay had some issues that included a very noisy air conditioner. The condo was cool but the fan never turned off snd was very noisy. The AC unit is locked in a closet in the master bedroom. I downloaded an App to measure the noise and the decibel level was 75 with several measurements in the 90s. Hearing damage happens at 80. I messaged owner several times and he didn’t respond until the next day. He said the VRBO email didn’t function so he didn’t get messages until the next day. It would have been easy to turn off the AC because temps were cooler outside, but tenants do not have any access to thermostat. AC guy came and cleaned the unit and it improved but didn’t fix the issue. Owner came by and we asked him to turn off for our last night. So we had 3 out of 4 nights bad sleep and owner didn’t offer a partial refund at all. He did offer a dinner out or bottle of wine but we had already eaten snd we’re leaving the area the next day. Because of the noise I slept in the master bedroom as well as on the couch and neither are comfortable. The master has a squeaky double bed. The pull out couch is awful to sleep on. When people pay over $400 per night, they want a comfortable queen or bigger bed with high quality bedding. This was one stay on an extended vacation. There were only two of us but we booked this place because we wanted to have our own bedroom space and enjoy hanging out at the property. It would have been helpful to have detailed information about how to use the property amenities.
