Perched on the side of the mountain, this forested four-bedroom home invites you to escape from the bustle of the city and experience the feeling as if you were living in a treehouse. Enjoy a coveted (and rare!) secluded setting, while only being a five-minute drive from all the amenities downtown - including grocery stores and local restaurants.
Kick back on two private decks and take in the Blue Ridge Mountain views. Make use of the gas grill and enjoy an afternoon cookout. The covered front porch is another inviting spot to enjoy the fresh air.
Gleaming hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views, and a cool contemporary vibe define this serene home. In the main floor living room, take in the gorgeous view from the comfort of two modern chairs and a sectional. Curl up by the gas fireplace and play your favorite tunes on the sound system, or watch a movie on the 65-inch smart TV. Downstairs, the second living room has a gas fireplace and lovely views, as well as a 32-inch TV, full-size sofa, and two chairs. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Just a perfect home for three couples to spend a wonderful weekend hiking Montreat, shopping in Black Mountain, and relaxing with family. Beautifully appointed with everything needed to enjoy a weekend. Million $ view. Will be back! Thank you

Great location, excellent views, brilliantly stylized to the era of the home. We were 2 couples visiting in June for a long weekend. It was located within 30 min of the things we were interested in. Everything is as advertised, the views were spectacular, the vibe of the home was great. I liked that there were 3 rooms with king sized beds and the deck was the perfect place for our morning coffee. We also grilled out on the deck one evening and took in a spectacular sunset with our dinner. There was more space than we needed and well priced for the amount of people it could accommodate. We arrived in the dark and would recommend a daytime arrival as we took a couple of short wrong turns because we couldn't see anything. Once we had our bearings it was not difficult to find the place, especially with daylight. I have rented with Vacasa before and would definitely do it again.

Gorgeous views off of the decks and out the huge windows. We had several occasions when bears walked by the house; absolutely amazing. The accommodations were perfect for our family and conveniently located near downtown Black Mountain restaurants, hiking in Montreat, and close enough to get into Asheville for. Couple excursions. Hope to be back!

The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

We loved the house and the location, but we were absolutely disgusted with a fresh bodily fluid stain on the bedsheets. We reached out the first night when we found it. We were told someone would come change out all of the sheets if we wanted, and of course we said yes. They never came and changed the sheets, and finally on night 3 we laundered the sheets (other guests did as well because who knows if any of the sheets were clean), and the stain came right out. This is awful. We asked for money back and they never responded. They at the very least could have had an extra set of clean king sized sheets in the house and we would have changed them out. Also, we have pictures of the dirty sheets that we shared with them but they didn’t seem to care. There were also a lot of bugs and they said it had recently been treated for bugs. Though we understand that bugs are inevitable, to find a handful in the first hour we got there is not welcoming. And one more thing, the upstairs tubs barely drained, so therefore we had to shower in basically dirty bath water.
