Direct private frontage on the Ogunquit River. Drop in your kayak, paddle board or inflatable tube and go. Spectacular west facing river, marsh, & wildlife views and sunsets second to none. PLUS, a right of way path across the street offers beach rights on 70 feet of private beach on the southern end of Moody.
This is not a public way, but a deeded right of way with its own set of steps leading to your section of Moody. Walk to Ogunquit, Marginal Way, Perkins Cove.
The open floor plan features 7 sun filled rooms, water views, 3 bedrooms (master has
a king bed) , 2 full baths, large open living-dining room, central air, and a large private rear deck overlooking the river and marsh. Newly renovated kitchen with Bosch
appliances, granite countertops & island. New 8 foot slider that opens the whole
first floor up to the river views. 1 set of king sheets provided upon request

I am way overdue with this review but hopefully better late than never! We were lucky enough to secure a reservation just as this property came on the rental market. There were no reviews yet but my conversations with the owner Deb made me feel like we were in good hands. The house is cozy and cute and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us! The back deck overlooking the water was a nice place to enjoy morning coffee and evening lobster :). The star of this property is the amazing private beach just steps across the street. The beach is so wide and clean and we felt like we practically had it to ourselves the whole week. It was perfect for our toddler and very convenient to restaurants and shops.

The back deck, although hot during the late afternoon, offered beautiful views of the marsh. It’s just a short walk to the beautiful Moody Beach. The owners are awesome and accommodating. We had a wonderful and nice, quiet stay. Just what we were looking for.

The location was perfect, the (private) beach was literally 100 paces from the front step (yeah, we counted!). The back deck overlooking the river was a perfect place to enjoy breakfast in the shade or sit in the sun in the evening. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room for us to all be together in the house or have our own space when we wanted. The owners were quick to reply, but we needed nothing from them during our stay as everything was well prepared. Downtown Oqunguit is just a short drive (10 mins +/-). We've been vacationing in this area for years and this was by far our favorite rental.
