About this house rental
This historic former World War II Bunker that has been converted into a single-family residence offers a convenient location near the Rhode Island shoreline. Not only does it provide access and parking to state beaches, but it's also close to the Block Island Ferry and other amenities.
The main house features four bedrooms, including a former watch tower with ladder access only, a stone fireplace, a three-season room, and an in-ground pool. With glorious views of Ninigret Pond and the Rhode Island/Long Island Sound, it offers a picturesque setting. The property also includes a second guest house availble at additional fee., which has 1 bedroom, and a pullout sofa bed in the living room, a separate kitchen and laundry facilities, and a bathroom. There is also an outdoor shower attached to the guest house for returns from the beach. The guest house also doubles as a pool house with changing area and bathroom with shower at the main entrance. In total, it can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. Off Season 10 Guests additional 3-4 with guest house at additional cost per night

We were a multigenerational group of 14. 8 adults and 6 kids, ages 7-12. The absolute highlight of the property was the ginormous pool, which kept the kids busy for hours. The location was perfect. It was a short drive to Blue Shutters town beach, five minutes to Burlingame State Park picnic area and five minutes to Ninigret Park to hunt for the Trolls. The host promptly responded to any questions or concerns. Wonderful memories were made! Hope to be back.

We had a wonderful week with our family in Charlestown. Perfect location for Blue Shutters Beach. Pool was awesome on the very hot days we had during our stay. The hosts were very responsive to any and all requests. Thanks.
