There is also a noise monitoring device inside the house and in the backyard that monitors decibel levels. They do not record sound.

Well stocked house, great layout, easy check in/out. We will be back for family times, as we are in Corpus Christi several times a year.

This is a large, clean, well-equipped home with one drawback: the air conditioning (AC) system is not always able to keep the home comfortable. During our three night stay in late April the weather was very humid and windy. The AC units were able to keep the temperature down, but they were unable to lower the humidity level in the house. On the advice of the owner, we kept the thermostats set on really low temperatures to force the AC system to run, but it didn’t solve the problem and neither did the dehumidifiers in the house. The thermostat upstairs consistently displayed a relative humidity reading of 89%. Downstairs the humidity was 70%, so not quite as bad. The end result was a cold, damp house that was not comfortable.
