About this farm stay rental

Private home nestled on a 132 acre working farm located close to Branson, Missouri, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and beautiful hiking trails in the Ozark National Forest. Plenty of room with three separate bedroom suites with private baths for the ultimate privacy. Come and take in one of the many music shows or the great shopping and dining that can be found in Branson, Missouri and Eureka Springs Arkansas, and enjoy the wonderful hiking trails found in the beautiful Ozark National Forest. This farm uses regenerative agricultural practices where we work with nature and treat ranching and the soil- to improve the land and climate change. We are developing an eco-friendly farm and wildlife habitat—planting grasses indigenous to this area and reintroducing quail, whose population has become dangerously low. Come and learn the farm life or enjoy the peace and quiet this place offers and experience the Ozarks.

My family and i stayed at Linda and Davids property for a relaxation vacation. The neighborhood was perfect, inbetween Harrison and Eureka Springs and just south of Branson. The farm was clean and peaceful. The house and property exceeded all of our expectations! Bathrooms were spacious and clean. The whole house was spotless, I would know with two toddlers, the grass in the yard was soft for little feet. We will be back if ever in the area again!

We were a day late getting in for our 5-night stay and we were immediately offered an additional night, although it was not in the least expected. Our hosts greeted us and made us feel welcome. Their property is beautiful, peaceful, and a wonderful place to unwind. We were treated to a tour of the property and enjoyed spending time and a couple of meals with them. They deserve a better review than this, however, I don't want anyone booking our week next year as we plan to return.

The home is beautiful & comfortable. It was so easy to relax & enjoy. The location is perfect for just getting away & even better a starting point for riding motorcycles. The roads were designed for 2 wheels. Tank you for the wonderful hospitality!

I don’t have enough space to tell how amazing this place is! Linda and David are such amazing people! This is a little slice of heaven on earth and they are angels! The house is beautiful! If you have a chance to stay at The Rockin H Ranch, don't hesitate to book it!! This place is gorgeous, spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and (not even kidding) every detail is a work of art. The sweeping views around the house of the rolling Arkansas hills make a relaxing setting. Our hosts, David and Linda, have put so much work into making this house into a unique and beautiful home. You will love seeing the refurbished wood and barn pieces they have utilized throughout the house - along with lots of original artwork. When my family walked into this house, they didn't even want to leave it to go anywhere else! David and Linda were very respectful of our privacy, but also they were very happy to make themselves available to us. They drove us around in their ATV to see their property, and then they were even kind enough to show us around some local sights. We had such a fun time with them! David and Linda are so warm, welcoming, and entertaining! We feel like we made some amazing new friends! Our trip here was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have chosen a better place! My wife and I, my daughter, and our fur-babies all loved our stay here so much, that we hope to come back here again!

What a wonderful property. No detail left undone. Beautiful property. Incredibly clean. Unbelievably gracious host. We loved this place. The most wonderful views and such fun farmhouse decor with clever talking pieces and art throughout the house. David and Linda were available any time and even were willing to spend time with us to show us the property and trade stories. We highly recommend this place.

This place is an absolute gem! The house is beautiful, incredibly clean, and well kept. Plus, the view is amazing! I couldn't ask for a better place to retreat to at the end of the day. First, the pictures do not do this home justice. It was so clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. When we arrived my kids said "mom you have to see this!" as they made their way from room to room and they weren't wrong. I did need to see it. Second, the property! All I can say is "wow"! So many beautiful views and places to explore and yet we barely scratched the surface. My only regret is not having enough time to see more of it. Third, our hosts, David and Linda. They were so generous with their farm and their time. They took our entire family out to feed the cows and see their farm. They chatted with us about our hiking adventures and gave us great recommendations for other places to visit. They are pet friendly and not only welcomed our two legged members but our four legged members with open arms. We loved every bit of our stay and can't wait until we can get back for another.

Truly, the pictures don't do this house justice. It was more room than the two of us needed, but we enjoyed every minute of our stay: the cozy fireplace, luxurious bed, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful shower, comfy furniture, and totally up-to-date decor and interior. We drank coffee on the front porch gazing across at the hills, utilized the grill in the breezeway, and enjoyed the country and nearby small towns. Linda and David are the best hosts, and interact as much or as little as you want. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them, and even getting the farm tour on a beautiful winter day. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and B&Bs, but perhaps none better than this one. Highly recommend, and hope to return some day!

Our stay at the rockinh ranch was absolutely amazing. Linda and David are amazing , they took the time to show us around and let us help on the farm. My wife , kids and myself had an amazing time helping feed and care for the cows. They took us on a tour of the farm and also a beautiful drive in the country were we were able to get the best family portrait we have ever had. It was a blessing to experience the beauty and peace that they created. They set the bar very high for future stays. They were awesome and patient with our children and love to laugh. We all had so much fun. The house is beautifully decorated and is very well stocked. From the time we arrived it felt like home, the views are amazing and it was nice to relax and spend quiet time with family. It is convenient to Branson and Eureaka Springs, perfect for a day trip to either. Will definitely be staying again! They are the true super hosts!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Linda and David, thank you for the tour of your beautiful farm. House is exceptionally clean and lovely decorated. Very comfortable bed, great shower. Great views and it was nice to wake up to cow's moving every morning. Some good restaurants in short distance, like Neighbors Mill and Little Mercantile, Brick oven pizza and New Tokyo. We had a great time!

With the beautiful view of the distant hills from the front porch, the firepit, the excellent quality of the beds and appliances and the wonderful styling, decorations and updated bathrooms, this house is awesome and the hosts are wonderful. We, a couple who are VRBO rental owners ourselves, spent a week at the house and would love to return with friends and family. In any season.

Wonderful little house in a small town

We needed a home base in the Harrison, AR area and this fit the bill. It's right outside the town of Alpena, and it was very easy to get to from anywhere (Branson, Eureka Springs, Harrison). The owners were easy to communicate with and they really did provide everything you need: toiletries, kitchen staples, spices & oils, etc. Three HUGE bedrooms all spread out gave us so much space to enjoy. The cows moo'ing in the morning was fun for the kiddos. I was nervous at first, since it was a new listing without any reviews. But, it was a great place to stay! Super clean and super stocked with supplies. Internet was easy and there were TV's in every room (if that's what you want). Laundry room was inside the master bedroom closet, so very convenient. We will definitely stay there again on our return trip to visit family.
