"This house was large, clean, comfortable and well-stocked. But best of all, it was right above a beautiful, rushing River that soothed us day and night. A perfect place! Thank you!"

This beautiful Wallowa River frontage home is located at the resort side of Wallowa Lake making it a short trek to the trailhead or any of the activities like the Wallowa Lake Tramway, Vali's Restaurant, and so much more!

This beautiful custom-built home has plenty of living space. The large living room has beautiful tall windows overlooking the Wallowa River. The flatscreen TV is mounted at the ceiling, so while it is available to watch, you may just decide to watch the water roll by instead. The dining room has a convenient dining table and a propane fireplace with a glass door that opens onto the wrap-around deck that overlooks the Wallowa River. Just beyond the living and dining areas is a gorgeous kitchen with tile countertops and all the conveniences of home.

Tuck into a main-floor queen bedroom, or walk upstairs and find two additional bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the primary bedroom with a king bed, small wet bar, sitting area, and another propane stove. The upstairs bathroom features a soaking tub.

The outside living of this home is focused on being located on the Wallowa River. The wrap-around deck with a variety of seating/dining options is a highlight for many repeat guests that love to watch the Wallowa River flow by.

THINGS TO KNOW
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No cable available
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.
Winter Rentals: We always recommend 4x4, chains or studded tires. Some guests have better traction tires and can access the homes without them, but it is not recommended. Also, the weather changes rapidly at this mountain location. We suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers have the ability to purchase tire chains, and if you don't use them, will take them on return.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Our family loved this house. It had everything we needed. One morning while we sat drinking our coffee on the deck listening and watching the river a deer walked up along the river in front of us! It was amazing. The house was everything it said it was. We would highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home next to the river. It was everything we needed it to be for a memorable holiday weekend. Would definitely come back!

We were very impressed with the property and found it clean and well equipped. We were not successful, however, in getting access to the house using the code provided. We did try the back door and found that it was open. I was not happy with my contacts with Vacasa. After I waited for an opportunity to speak with a representative (1/2 hour) I suddenly was disconnected and had to call back and had to wait again for another 15 minutes. When I asked what the problem was he told me that Monday was a holiday and that they were short staffed. I still can't figure out what holiday they were celebrating that they would be short staffed. This was my first experience with Verbo or Vacasa..

The house was in a good location. The river was very nice behind the house and very nice ambience. However, getting into the house was a little bit difficult, and I had to talk to somebody that had a very strong accent from the Middle East so I could not understand the numbers. He was telling me so that I could open the door the address also was not the same at the street as it was on the house, as it was in might email from vacasa, so it was very confusing. But once we all got in and Rectified, the mishap of getting in, we had a lovely time

We loved this house and the location. It was perfect. The Kokanee were spawning while we were there. You could walk right down to the river and watch them. The river would lull us to sleep at night in our nice comfortable king bed. The pilot light needed to be lit when we first got there in the fireplace. A very nice gentleman came right over and got it going. Just one little note….the stairs were a bit steep for my elderly parents. They stayed downstairs in bedroom with bathroom. I just wanted to note this for people traveling with elderly parents. Thank you so much for our wonderful vacation.
