About this house rental

Unwind in Union at this welcoming house. With 2 bedrooms including 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed, guests will find a cozy retreat here. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine and wood stove. The bathroom features a shower and a hair dryer for added comfort. The deck is to die for with amazing views of the Eagle Cap wilderness and a large fire pit outside. You'll fall in love with the hot tub with no neighbors or light pollution, discovering stars you didn't even know existed in the night sky. Abundant wildlife to view around the home and on a walk if you venture out into the 120 acre property and river front access. High speed StarLink Internet and remote home office setup and smart TV to stay connected when you need too. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place!

Guests that need accessibility:
You have a wide driveway where you drive right up to the home wide enough for two cars, with gravel level to the concrete patio on the south side of the home and deck on west side of home. All doors exterior and interior are 30" or larger. Interior doors are a barn door style easy to slide open and close. The shower is not very accessible as it is more narrow and has a glass opening with no support arms but does have spray handle in addition to waterfall above. We are looking to add ramps to exterior doors to make it easier for wheelchair entrance to home in (April 2024) and are considering support arms to shower.

Is this a special occasion like an anniversary, birthday, or otherwise? Contact the host for a special welcome package, customized for you, where for a small fee we can charge through the app to make your entrance and visit extra special for your loved ones.

NOTE: During winter months you may need 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive to navigate snow on the driveway to the home. There is an excellent gravel road and base to the home and around the home, but snow can easily get upwards of 3-10" overnight with various storms. Contact us if you need assistance.

Note, we do have another cabin on the property a couple of hundred yards up the hill that is nearly 100% out of view with trees and all (you can see from one deck to the other a little when outside). If it is rented you may see other people when out on a walk or at the river, in common areas.

Contact us at Clear Waters Paradise Ranch for special limited bed and breakfast trophy hunts and prices for cow elk, August – November, Trophy Elk Archery (draw), trophy Whitetail, November, and Turkey spring and fall.

Location is stunning, and what a beautiful, well-appointed cabin to spend time in! We came out to avoid fireworks for the July 4th weekend, and we were not disappointed…the only things we heard were birdsong in the morning and the running water of the meandering river in the distance day and night. There’s also virtually no light pollution, so the stars put in their own show every night if it’s clear. Really lovely property and very gracious hosts. The only drawback was the fact there are two cabins on the property and they are fairly close to each other, so you may not be totally alone on the 120 acres. We wished the listing had stated that, as we did think we would be the only guests on the property and it’s one of the reasons we booked it-to be completely isolated. The other cabin did have guests for the weekend; we just tried to stay out of their way and respect everyone’s privacy. All in all, excellent accommodations and a stunning venue.

This amazing property was the perfect prelude to the rest of our vacation. The house is so well appointed that it almost instantly goes from house to home. The views are wonderful, from in the house to the best deck we have experienced. And the wild life was another boost to each day, morning to sunset, the birds singing, chipmunks scrambling, and the quail and turkey visiting the feeding station . . . Just WOW. The cheerful background of Catherine Creek rippling through the valley just added to this premier adventure.Everything was well prepared and ready for our stay. Two days were all we had time for this trip, but we will look to make this a great starter or relaxing finish to any future travels in the area. It is also worthy of a dedicated destination for a refreshing reset beyond the reach of mundane daily life.

This is a gem of a cabin, and we really enjoyed our stay. We experienced a little snafu with scheduling/housekeeping, but the owner more than made up for any deficiencies with great communication and a discount. We got to meet the housekeeper, who is amazing, and keeps the cabin very clean, with homey, comfortable touches. The wildlife was amazing--great birding location. Morning on the deck was magical. If we have the chance, we will absolutely be back.

It was okay. Felt like the property owner were constantly watching us which made it uncomfortable.
