The Space:
Our Airstream is situated in a serene backyard, providing a quiet escape while keeping you close to the best of Berkeley. Inside, you'll find:
-A cozy bedroom nook with fresh linens
-A compact kitchenette with essentials for light cooking
-A modern bathroom with a shower and hot water
-A TV and high-speed WiFi for streaming or work needs
Enjoy the private garden entrance and relax in the shared backyard with outdoor seating.
Guest Access:
You’ll have private access to the Airstream and shared access to the backyard. Paid parking with EV charging is available on the premises. If you’re bringing additional guests or pets, please inform us in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
The Neighborhood:
Our neighborhood is quite special. It's bustling with people during the day, and quiets down at night. It's safe to walk around in the evening, especially to the pub down the street or to the local indie movie theater. Shops are eclectic and many have interesting stories behind them. We're minutes from the UC Berkeley campus.
Getting Around:
The airstream is a 10 minute walk from the RockRidge BART station. You can be in the city in 20 minutes. There's also a bus stop across the street. There's a Ford GObike station a half a block from the air stream, which is a convenient and affordable way to rent a bike. There are also usually electric scooters conveniently scattered around the neighborhood, which are a fun way to zip around without breaking a sweat.
Other Things to Note:
-Nearby Attractions: UC Berkeley campus, Elmwood District shops, Rockridge cafes, and top-rated restaurants are just a few minutes away. Check out the Berkeley Art Museum, Tilden Park, and Gourmet Ghetto for a taste of local culture.
-Transportation: Ford GoBikes, e-scooters, and BART are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the entire Bay Area.

The airstream is super cozy and clean, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host is very responsive and the neighborhood has lots of cute shops, good food, and great coffee. Would recommend!

As you walk through the gates of Dustin’s property, you feel like you’re passing into a bit of a magical land! The gates are painted with bright and beautiful colors, and the ease of checking in is really simple and clear. The airstream tiny house is simple, wonderful and quiet with beautiful overgrown backyard that surrounds your little tiny house. There is quite a bit of “stuff” in the backyard that detracts from the yards beauty and just needs maybe a storage shack to clean the look up a bit. That would help with where you could sit outside…Our host, Dustin is a great communicator without interfering with your vacation and your time in Berkeley. There could’ve been a bit better written communication about how to turn everything on and off in the airstream however, I did figure it out without breaking anything or having to disturb the host. The neighborhood is what I would refer to as the old Berkeley. Bright and sunny and cool in all the right ways! It has all the special features that make it Berkeley. Petes coffee, a great bagel place and small cafes and places for food and treats! Lots of neighborhood dogs and super walkable and friendly folks. Berkeley at its finest!!!Dustin treated me to a bagel (so good that I bought six for my friends at my next stop)! And two beautiful tiny cupcake from a French bakery in the neighborhood. I ate one and left the other for Dustin. I want to give this little piece of heavenly refuge 5 stars and a huge thank you, Houston

Excellent place to stay! Especially useful for those visiting Lighthaven (just a 15-20 minute walk away).
