Newly renovated standalone cottage guesthouse in trendy Berkeley/Oakland Rockridge. Close to restaurants, coffee houses, Trader Joe & Safeway, UC Berkeley, and BART. New bathroom and bedroom. New furniture and appliances (microwave and refrigerator, washer and dryer) in the common room. Keurig coffee machine provided. A camping stove is available for cooking. Free, time-limited street parking or on-site parking for a small fee. Pets are welcome ($16/stay).

This was the perfect location for visiting our friends, walking to great restaurants and shops, and getting to public transit. The cottage was cozy and quiet, tucked back from the street, with a beautiful garden outside the windows. The bed was comfortable and the place had all the necessities for our stay. Grateful to the host for their detailed communication!

The property was just as advertised: very clean, comfortable, quiet, and located just a half a block from College Ave and Rockridge with great coffee, a wonderful small market, a great bakery, and nice restaurants. I highly recommend it. Chris was a perfect host; responsive and helpful. .

It is not a one bedroom. It is a studio with a kitchen that has no stove and the bare essentials. Coffee, no tea, 4 forks, 3 knives, 3 plates, bowls. But the location is great and it was quiet. The owner was good at communicating.
