This cabin was hands-down the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in — and we rent 4–5 vacation homes every year. Every corner of the house was spotless, fresh, and clearly cared for with pride. It instantly made us feel comfortable and at home - it felt more like a home than a rental. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but this one truly stands out for its cleanliness, comfort, and charm. The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. You can tell the hosts put real care into creating a space that feels both welcoming and special. It is clear Carol genuinely wants guests to have a wonderful experience, and it shows in every detail of the cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, every item you would need for outdoors, plenty of household supplies, games, puzzles, abundant parking, and charming rustic touches throughout. At night we spent time unwinding by the firepit, watching the sun go down over the lake, and making S’mores with the kit left for us in the kitchen along with other goodies. It is the kind of personal hospitality you rarely find. Carol is an exceptional host! The location was peaceful and private, with minimal traffic. We didn’t end up using the hot tub, but I looked inside, and it was spotless and crystal clear. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this cabin is it. We are already planning our next trip back. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

07/2025 This was our first trip to Cherokee Lake and loved it! Our stay was amazing this house was a perfect fit for our family it’s very big and spacious! Its so stocked with supplies, all kinds of games and toys for the children and adults! We were very pleased! We hope to good back!

We loved our stay at Carol’s cabin! It was a great location with so many provided things to do. There was a dock, kayaks, a fire pit with a large sitting area, cornhole, and tons of indoor board games and card games. She was very responsive and even brought by an iron and ironing board to use. We would definitely like to stay here again…don’t hesitate to book, it’s an awesome place!!
