About this house rental
Large and roomy lake view home on a level lot with no steps in and ample parking for larger groups. Kids love this house! If you elderly travelers in your group or anyone with mobility issues this home is great, one of the few in Tan Tar A estates with no steps on the first level. This home has a great deck with a Lake view and it's own hot tub. A golf cart is included with this rental for easy access to the resort at Margaritaville. The home sleeps many, with a master suite that has a bonus small bedroom off of it that is not in the room or bed count (it has two twin beds and is great for young children to stay with parents). Two large suites upstairs have great sleeping quarters one with a king and queen and the other with 2 queen beds.
You will love having your morning coffee outside on the large deck. You can go for a safe walk in the estates on the 5K trail or even better walk the golf cart paths of a 9 hole golf course that is closed down but still maintained daily. The golf cart is a great option for visiting the resort at Margaritaville and it's numerous activities.
Tan Tar A Estates/Margaritaville are located on 420 scenic acres, is built for fun family recreation. Tee off on two championship golf courses, built for players of all skill levels. There are eight restaurants from fast food to fine dining and seafood. Escape and relax at the Windjammer Spa, a relaxing massage sounds nice, right?
If it rains, go to Jolly Mon Indoor Water Park. It has over 600 feet of water slides, an over-sized whirlpool, and a lazy river for tubing, activity pool, and floating. There is a three-story wilderness tree house with slides, water blasters, bridges, tunnels, and a safe and fun 600-gallon tipping bucket! You can also go bowling at the resort, the bowling alley has 8 lanes, 4 of which are set up for bumper bowling. The Fin City arcade is state of the art and you can exchange tickets for prizes. When the rain stops, go horseback riding or head to the full-service marina for everything from paddle boarding to PWCs, even rent a boat for the day! (extra fees apply)

This is a beautiful home that is as described. The decor was pretty - very beachy and bright. There was lots of room for our group to spread out and have our own space. The hot tub was amazing, and the availability of the golf cart was great! There was a basket of beach towels to use and a couple of tubes to use in the pools. The little drink tiki bar was so cute - it needed a light over it, but still very cute! Check in and out was so very easy. Overall the house was great but aging and has several cosmetic issues that need to be addressed. The door to the back patio was very "shaky" and felt like it would or could come off the hinges. The back bedroom didn't have a vent cover, just a hole in the wall. There were cobwebs everywhere and several light bulbs that either weren't in or needed to be replaced. There were places on the walls/doors that have been patched, but need to be painted. Upstairs in the flipflop room, a closet door was off the hinges and just propped up in the closet. Tubs upstairs had grout missing or very discolored and the tubs had chips in them that were starting to rust. It was almost 90 degrees when we checked in and the wall units upstairs weren't on so the house was oppressively hot. It took it a few hours to cool down - fans were in the closets upstairs to help, but it would have been nice to have the air on already cooling when we checked in. We had a great time and enjoyed our girls weekend!

Property was what we expected. Had a couple of issues but were taken care of immediately by the owner. Layout of the house was perfect for our families.

This house had a lot of character with fun decorations! It easily accommodated our very large group and the layout allowed for both privacy at night and togetherness at day. The house had excellent air conditioning and we were very comfortable in the summer temperatures. The view was beautiful and the outdoor space was great for hanging out. We would definitely stay here again!
