Charming Historic Cottage Downtown with Two King Beds

This place is super cute and great for a small family or 2-3 adults. We brought our dog as well since the listing said pet friendly. There are a lot of windows. One was unlocked when we got there and we locked it back. I am big on safety. It was not that noisy with a sound machine / fan. Traffic nearby was consistent but nothing crazy. Someone did come by during our stay to leaf blow the properly and clean the pool. I know that is scheduled maintenance but it wasn't my FIRST preference with a child and dog on the premises. The bathroom wasn't AS clean or spacious as I would've liked and the boards did creak. The beds were extremely comfortable and overall, the place serviced its purpose. It is about a 20 min walk to City Market and 25 minute walk to the River. Mathew was pretty quick to respond when I had questions about the air conditioner. It says to keep it on 70, which was a concern at first, but it ended up being the perfect temp for an early April stay. I'd give it a 7.2/10 in hindsight.

Needs additional soundproofing, loud street and alley traffic. Floorboards safety issue not only gaps but also warped boards. Multiple large Palmetto bugs come into house at nighttime . Beds were comfy. Beautiful 7 foot mirrors through home which adds to the Savannah charm. Parking is a hassle. Residential side free parking if you can find some spaces. The other side of street you have to pay. You also have to triple check All street signs as to when you have to move your vehicle for the street sweepers.

Great little home and perfect location for walking to all that Savannah has to offer.

Very disappointed. The cleanliness of housekeeping was great, bedding etc., clean, but the property itself, was not kept up. Furniture and area rug was stained, Front door was filthy.The bathroom you could hardly see in, overhead lighting not working, door dirty, mold in caulk. The back court yard where pool was, was not maintained- gravel, mud, weeds, rusted furniture, back porch peeling paint. It made us so uncomfortable, we checked out 3 days early. We did not contact property manager, ( except that we were leaving) when we were there bcs I didn’t know what to say, U have no pride in your property??
