About this villa rental
Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.
Lots of natural light shines throughout this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa, just steps away from the Salty Dog.
You’ll love the recently renovated kitchen, which is located just off the foyer. All overlooking the open-concept living and dining room and out to the Calibogue Sound.
The master bedroom consists of a king bed, a walk-in closet, and an attached master bathroom. The master bathroom is nicely renovated with a custom tiled walk-in shower. The guest bedroom consists of a king bed. The guest bathroom is also fully renovated and has a cute tile with a tub and shower combination. Both bedrooms have views of the water.
Please note, there is no elevator access to the villa.
Please Note: The complex is currently replacing balcony handrails throughout the complex. While this unit is not directly affected, there will be construction activity and noise during this time. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October.
Walk to the tennis, pickleball courts, and the beach. Or simply enjoy the views from the balcony, watching the wildlife and boats on the water, while listening to the music from the South Beach Marina!

The location literally couldn't be better and the villa was very comfortable for our family. Nothing could beat the lazy mornings looking out at the sound, or the two minute walk to Salty Dog every evening. Highly recommend this villa!

We loved the location, near the beach and next to Salty dog cafe. It would be nice if there is a pool for us to use without paying exra.The toilet was making noises for the first couple nights, but it was gone about mid way through our staying. I called maintenance line to check on toilet noises, they were very responsive, thank you. Inside condo, very musty smell, not sure where it is from. Overall, we enjoyed being at the condo and would stay there again.

1809 Bluff Villas is part of six buildings, each 3 story, condo units probably built in the 70s when inside doors were the Luan hollow door style. While the inlet water view off South Beach was nice, this unit is a second floor unit. My group were all in their 80s, but still in good health for climbing steps with luggage, but the listing should inform people that it is a second floor unit with no elevator service. The unit was within walking distance of an access to the beach, so we got the "beach gear" equipment as part of the rental credit. Only the chairs and umbrellas could be delivered to the unit (2nd floor) and the beach buggy was hard to find because there was no mention of it being delivered to the nearest bicycle rack. It took a day to correct that error, but the weather was not favorable for beach days the entire week, so we didn't use the "beach gear." Unless you plan to be at the beach multiple days and the weather is going to be favorable (late April to Sept), I would suggest putting the weather risk for beach gear on the folks at Sea Pines Beach Club who put up chairs and umbrellas for rent there rather than taking the weather risk yourself and arranging for "beach gear" in advance. South Beach was undergoing re-surfacing the leisure trails and roadway for significant stretches of South Sea Pines Drive, which meant one-way traffic during the day and rough roads awaiting re-surfacing. This work should be finished now. We won't rent this unit again.
